Let’s make beef steak at home with white sauce.
INGREDIENTS:
Beef Marination:
BEEF FILLET
GARLIC & GINGER PASTE
SALT TO TASTE
BLACK PEPPER 1 TBSP
RED CHILLI FLAKES 1 TBSP
SOYA SAUCE 2 TBSP
CHILLI SAUCE 2 TBSP
KACHRI POWDER 1 PINCH
Sauteed vegetables:
1 medium size onion
1 small capsicum
4-6 olives
4-6 jalapeños
3 tbsp Soya sauce
WHITE SAUCE:
-Maida (All-purpose flour) 2 tbs
-Doodh 1.5 CUP
-SALT TO TASTE
-BLACK PEPPER 1 TS
-BUTTER 2 TS
-OREGANO 1 TS
-thyme 1 pinch
-CHEDDER/MOZZERELLA CHESSE 250G
MASHED POTTAOES :
4-6 Medium size Potatoes (Boiled & Peeled)
1/2 Cup Butter (salted)
3/4 Cup Milk
Oregano
Black Pepper
Salt to taste
Directions:
*BEEF MARINATION:
-Take BEEF fillets, poke holes with fork or meat tenderizer & set aside.
-In a plate or a bowl , add beef fillets, salt, garlic paste, kachri powder, black pepper, red chilli flakes, soya sauce, chilli sauce and mix well and marinate for 4-6 hours.
*WHITE SAUCE PREPARATION:
-Heat the butter in pan and then add 2 tbs flour in it. Roast it well then add 1 cup milk mix it well after that add REMAINING cup of milk , again stir it.
-Now add ,salt ,black pepper, thyme and oregano powder and cheddar cheese.. Cook it for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce get thick. White sauce is ready.
*MASHED POTATOES:
-Clean the potatoes and use a vegetable peeler to remove the skin. Cut the potatoes up into small cubes and place into a saucepan. Fill with cold water and place over medium-high heat to bring to the boil.
-Boil the potatoes for 20-30 minutes or until very tender and nearly falling apart. Drain the water using a colander and place the potatoes back into the saucepan. Keep on the heat until there is no longer large amounts of steam and then Remove from the heat.
-NOW Start to mash the potatoes using a potato masher.
-Now heat 1/2 cup Butter in a pan.
-Once Butter starts to heat up, add in 3/4 cup Milk and start mixing It.
-Now Add the potatoes in the pan.Cook the potatoes till it comes together. *Wait for it to form a huge lump and that’s a sign that it’s cooked perfectly.
-Once everything comes together, it’s time to add Mashed Potatoes in it.
-Now add salt & pepper to taste and mix it well.
-Mix it thoroughly and your Mashed Potatoes are ready.
*STEAK AND SAUTEED VEGETABLES PREPARATION:
-GREASE GRILL PAN WITH OIL , PLACE MARINATED BEEF FILLET AND COOK/GRILL ON LOW FLAME 10-15 MINUTES EACH SIDE.
-ADD CAPSICUM,ONION,JALAPENOS & OLIVES ON THE SIDES OF PAN AND ADD SOYA SAUCE TO MAKE THEM JUICY
*OUR BEEF STEAK IS READY.
