Korean Beef Bulgogi |Easy Bulgogi| Korean beef BBQ: 막불고기 Korean Grilled Beef Recipe by chef wajeeha

Literally speaking, bulgogi (불고기) means “fire meat”.  It is often made with tender parts of beef, pork , chicken or for vegetarian it cant be cook in “mushrooms”. However, in general terms, unless specified, bulgogi is made with beef. Undoubtedly it is one of the most well-known Korean traditional foods and it has been around for thousands of years. Naturally, the cooking method of bulgogi evolved over time and it varies by region too. That’s a super easy recipe for Korean BBQ beef with the most flavorful marinade!!!! The thin slices of meat cook quickly, and it’s so tender!

Ingredients:

Beef 1 kg (thinly sliced)
Soy Sauce 6 tbsp
Synthetic Vinegar/Rice Vinegar 3 tbsp
Sugar 1 tbsp
Black pepper powder 1 tbsp
Sesame Seeds 2 tbsp
Sesame oil 4 tbsp
Onion 1 (thinly sliced)
Spring onion 1 cup (thinly sliced)
Garlic cloves 8 (minced)

Method:

1) In a bowl add soy sauce, synthetic vinegar, sugar, black pepper powder, season seeds 1 tbsp, sesame oil 2 tbsp and garlic. Then add half onion. mix it well. pour it in a beef, mix it well and marinate it for half hour.

2) Heat a pan/skillet add beef and left over sauce. cover it and cook until it cook.

3) When the meat cook well add remaining onion, spring onion and remaining 1 tbsp sesame Seeds and 2 tbsp oil. cook for 2-3 min.

4) Garnish with spring onion and served with rice or lettuce. Enjoy!!!!!
