Smoked Brisket on the Pellet Grill

Smoked beef brisket on a pellet grill. It’s slow smoked all day long and results in a tender, fall apart brisket with a great BBQ flavor.

***Devon’s Smoked Brisket Recipe***
You’ll need –
10 – 13 pound beef brisket, trimmed
smoker
pellets (I used competition blend)
plastic wrap
foil
meat thermometer
brisket rub

Devon’s Rub:
1 1/2 tbsp kosher salt
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder
2 tsp ground mustard
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp chili powder

The night before smoking – Trim and dry brisket. Pat in rub on all sides. Wrap tightly in plastic and foil and place in fridge.
Preheat smoker to 225 degrees F.
Place brisket in middle of smoker and insert meat thermometer into thick middle part. If your meat thermometer has an alarm, set it to go off at 200 – 205 degrees F depending on your tenderness preferences.
Check it occasionally and let that smoke do its thing!
My brisket was 13 pounds and took 9 hours to reach 205 degrees.

Let me know what you think and thanks for watching!
