The question is how do you cook brisket. Or how do you smoke brisket. Today I will show you how to make the worlds best beef brisket in an electric smoker. This recipe can be used by beginners or pros. You will love how easy it is to make this smoked beef brisket. It will take some time to cook but let me tell you when you are eating the brisket at the end of the day its all worth is.
What you need for this brisket recipe:
A nice piece pf brisket
Some kind of rub. You can us the rub i used in the video
Some butcher paper
A smoker ( I use electric because its what i have)
A big apatite because you will want to eat all 5 pounds.
You want to make the rub and apply it the night before you cook the brisket. After you wake up heat the smoker to 225 F and put in some apple wood chips. Put in the brisket on the middle rack for 3-4 hours until it stalls at around 160 F. Then take it out and wrap it in butcher paper. put it back in the smoker for another 6 or so hours until the internal temp reaches 195-200 F. Now that the brisket is all cooked you need to let it rest. I put mine in a cooler bag or you can also use a cooler and let it rest for 1-2 hours. and boom its time to eat. Cut the brisket into 1/4 inch slices and let me know how amazing it was.
