Chicken Drumstick is best starter recipe for this Christmas and New year party. Chicken drumstick recipe can be prepared in two ways: baked chicken drumsticks & grilled chicken drumsticks. Baked drumstick is with Strawberry barbeque sauce and grilled chicken drumstick with dry rub. Try this and impress your family and friends this party season.

Ingredient :
(Serve 2)
For Strawberry Barbeque Sauce:
– 1 tsp Olive Oil
– 4 Garlic Cloves
– 3 Dry red chillies
– 1/4 cup onion
– 1 cup Strawberry( hulled)
– 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
– 1/2 cup tomato Ketchup
– 1 tsp Mustard sauce
– 1 tsp soy sauce

Baked Chicken Drumsticks:
– 3 Chicken Drumsticks
– Salt
– Black pepper
– Olive oil

Grilled Chicken Drumstick:
– 3 chicken drumsticks
– Oil
– Salt
– Black pepper

For Dry Rub:
– 1 tbsp Brown sugar
– 1 tsp Cinnamon Powder
– 1 tbsp garlic powder
– 1 tbsp Onion Powder
– 1 tsp Mustard Powder ( Yellow )
– 1 tbsp Red chilli Powder
– 1 tbsp paprika Powder
– Black Pepper powder
– Salt

Method:

Baking Chicken Drumsticks
For Barbeque sauce
1. Take olive oil in a pan with garlic Clove, dry Red chillies, red onion, and saute it.
2. Add hulled strawberries with brown sugar, ketchup, mustard paste, soy sauce and saute it well.
3. take potato smasher and smash strawberries till it releases it all juice, and become pulpy.

For Baking Drumstick
1. Take chicken drumsticks in a baking tray and marinate it with salt, pepper and olive oil.
2. Rub it well, and bake this drumstick in the oven for 30 Min at 200 Degree Celcius.
3. Roll baked Drumsticks in strawberry sauce and Drumstick is ready.

Grilled Chicken Drumsticks
1. take drumstick in a bowl, add oil, salt and pepper on it and rub it well.
2. Put drumsticks on grilling pan, let it get grilled. After getting grill marks, roll it to the other side.
3.sprinkle dry rub on cooked drum stick all over.

For Dry Rub
1. Take brown sugar in a bowl with Cinnamon Powder, garlic powder, Onion Powder, yellow mustard powder, Red chilli powder, Paprika Powder, Black pepper and Salt.
2. Mix this well and your dry spice mix is ready.

there’s going to be a serious demandfor some starters well this is from myholiday menu of very special starter andthat is chicken drumsticks two wayslet’s dig in when I say two ways ofcourse I’m gonna do a grilling methodand a baking method but that’s secondlyprimarily what I’m doing is I’m going toshow you two different kinds of makingthe sauce well the first one is going tobe a strawberry barbecue sauce and thesecond one is going to be a dry rubalmost like a Cajun spice or a peri-perilet’s first begin with of course thebarbecue style and this one is astrawberry barbecue with just a touch ofolive oil before this kind of begins toheat I’m gonna slide in some cloves ofgarlic along with this some dried redchilies of course if you can lay yourhand on fresh chilies it’s gonna be justperfect and fantastic with this as athickener and to just kind of bring inthat quotient of sweetness I’m going toadd in red onions and this now just kindof needs to begin to saute while this ishappening let’s move on to the mostcritical ingredient in this barbecuesauce and that is fresh strawberry wellit’s very simple wash it well and Hullthe strawberries when I say how thestrawberries all you need to do isremove the green leafy portion of thestrawberry and of course that needs tobe discarded cut this into 1/2 or 1/4it’s just kind of a rough cutjust keep it aside and ready till theonions are kind of getting good once theonions are translucent and ready let’sincrease the flame and add in the freshstrawberries now because strawberriesare in season in India this is the besttime to start using strawberries I amadding in brown sugar along with thistomato ketchup to this I’m going to addin mustard paste and finally to kind ofbalance of all the flavors I’m adding inlight soya sauce and you could alsosubstitute this with red wine vinegarall we need to do is allow this tosimmer on kind of low to medium flameand that would take some around five toseven minutes the whole idea is to kindof make it nice soft and mushy once thathappens you take a potato masher and youjust mash this till the strawberry kindof releases all its fresh juice andbecomes nice and pulpy well thealternate method is to cool this downcompletely and grind this into a smoothpuree once that puree is done you canalso bring it back to the flame and cookit for a minute[Music]with this a sweet sour sticky strawberrybarbecue sauce is done and ready thenext is to take chicken drumsticks in abaking tray and to this just basiclamination of salt pepper and olive oilwe rub this well and this goes into bakefor 30 minutes at 200 degrees or tillthe chicken drumsticks are perfectlycool[Music]while the chicken is getting big let’smove on to the next step and that isgrilling the drumsticks as simple as oilon the drumsticks this regular vegetableoil to this salt again as much asrequired and as basic as freshly crackedblack pepper well not too much becauseyou don’t want the specks to kind ofburn while grilling you rub this welland just allow the grill to kind of heatup the pan is heated up let’s drop inthe pieces of chicken and allow these tosay beautifully on all sides and forthat of course you need to keep rollingit in the middle but yeah you can justlet it be for a minuteonce it kind of gets beautiful grillmarks turn it over[Music]after a minute on high flame and when itgets kind of grill marks on one side youroll it nicely on the other side andallow it to grill there as well while achicken drumstick is kind of grilling toperfection and this will take abeautiful 20 minutes to do that let’sbegin with creating the dry rub that’sgonna be sweet and spicy the first thingthat is brown sugar going ahead withcinnamon powder followed up with garlicand this is dried garlic I’m followingthis up with onion powder followed byyellow mustard powder chili powder alongwith this sweet paprika black pepperpowder and finally to this salt mix thiswell and there you have a dry rub whichis done already[Music]with this our dry spice mix is done andready and this is also commonly referredto as a dry rublet’s dredge this generously or the wayyou please on the chicken which isalmost 99% bookedkeep rolling the cook drumstick toensure that it’s sprinkled all over withthis a chicken drumstick which is kindof rubbed with a dry seasoning or aspicy seasoning is done and ready thenext is to pull the baked one out of theoven and roll it in the strawberrybarbecue sauce let’s do that with this achicken drumstick is also baked andready this now straight jumps literallyin the strawberry barbecue sauce we needto roll this generously in thestrawberry barbecue sauce and with thatof course you have your second style ofdrumsticks which are also done in ready[Music]with this you have
