How to Make Chicken Wings in the Weber! (Crispy, Juicy and Tasty)

In this video, i’m going to show you how to make chicken wings in the Weber!
They’re going to come out juicy, crispy and tasty!

We’ll be using the vortex method, which is basically using a pyramid of steel to create high, indirect heat for our chicken wings.
Now you can do this by putting 2 charcoal baskets together in the middle, but it just doesn’t quite work as good.
A well made pyramid will sit almost flush from your charcoal grate to the underside of your cooking grate.

You want to fill the pyramid full with red hot briquettes, which will create that high indirect heat we want to get that crispy skin on our chicken wings!

Now I didn’t measure the temperature of the Weber internally before we put the wings on, but for good measure you want to be looking at around the 500F/260c range. Try not to go much higher than that or they might burn.

Enjoy the video and now you know how to make chicken wings in the Weber, share this with your family and friends so they can learn too!
