This is a simple video showing how I prepare and grill my chicken, with an Indian-style twist!
Chicken rub:
– 1/2 lemon (juiced)
– 1/2 tsp. salt
– 1/2 tsp. chili powder (paprika)
Marinade:
– 1/2 lemon (juiced)
– 1 tsp. ginger-garlic paste
– 1 cup of curd (yogurt)
– 1 tsp chili powder (paprika)
– 1 tbs tandoori masala (store bought)
– 1 tbs oil
Ingredients:
– Grilling oil
– 3 lbs. chicken (leg and thigh)
– Corn (5)
Steps:
1. Make some deep gashes into the chicken pieces
2. Mix the chicken rub, apply in the gashes
3. Add all the marinade ingredients to the chicken
4. Mix thoroughly
5. Cover the chicken, and store in fridge for 3-4 hours
6. After 3-4 hours, spray the non-stick oil
7. Place the chicken and corn, and close the grill
8. After the first side has cooked, flip the pieces and cook the other side
9. (Optional) Garnish with onions, lemon, coriander, and chaat masala
10. Your tandoori chicken is ready to be served!
