Air Fryer Korean BBQ Pork Ribs

Hello EVERYBODY!! Welcome back! Today I’m making Korean BBQ pork spare ribs! These ribs were so much fun to make and it only takes 4 hours for them to marinate and 2 hours to cook in the air fryer! If you want to know what these Korean bbq ribs taste like, they taste garlicy, gingery with a hint of sweet & salty. Sprinkle some sesame seeds on top with sliced green onion & they’re good to go! Below will be the ingredients & directions, as well as directions on how to make white rice!

?~Korean BBQ RIBS INGREDIENTS + DIRECTIONS~?

(TIP: This makes 4-5 servings)

Step 1: Get 3 ibs of spare ribs & clean them well with water, which is half a large rack of ribs (or you can use any meat you’d like. Chicken would go great with this marinade!). Set ribs aside

Step 2: Whisk the ingredients below in a bowl
-4 tbs sesame oil
-4 tbs rice vinegar
-4tbs fresh minced ginger (or 2 tbs of ginger powder)
-1 tsp crushed red pepper
-1 cup brown sugar (You can substitute with sugar free brown sugar if you’d like)
-1 cup soy sauce (You can substitute with low sodium soy sauce if you’d like)
-2 stalks of green onion
-1 head of garlic minced

Step 3: Get a large Ziplock bag, place the ribs into the bag as well as the marinade you just prepared. Massage the ribs with marinade really well before placing it in the fridge. Allow ribs to marinate for 4-8 hours.

Step 4: Place ribs in air fryer on 220 degrees for 1 hour (Flip ribs after 30 min). Also, it doesn’t matter how you place your ribs in the air fryer.

Step 5: Place ribs in air fryer on 250 degrees for 1 hour (Flip ribs after 30 min).

Step 6: Allow ribs to cool for 10 minutes. Sprinkle sliced green onion and sesame seeds on top and voila!

?~How to make white rice on the stove~ (Serves 3-5 people)?

Step 1: Boil 2 and a half cups of water in a small pot. Add 1 tbs of oil (I used canola). Add 1 tsp of salt (optional).

Step 2: Once the water is boiling, add 1 and a half cups of white rice (You can also use jasmine rice for this recipe). Stir for five seconds. Allow the water to continue boiling until the water has evaporated (Only the rice should be visible at this point).

Step 3: Set stove on 2 (On my stove that’s the 2nd lowest temp. It goes from “Low” to “2”, but if you don’t have a 2, you can just put the setting next to “low”. Stir rice one more time. Place a lid on the rice and allow to cook for 30 min.
