How to make pork barbeque at home.
Sharing to you a simple Filipino recipe for a pork barbeque at home.
This food can be shared on special occasions like birthday or enjoyed on your daily meals.
Ingredients:
– Pork loin 1kg
– Barbeque Marinade, 1/4 cup Mama Sita’s
– Soy Sauce, 3/4 cup Datu Puti
– Apple Cider Vinegar, 1/4 cup Bragg
– Banana Ketchup, 2 tbsp UFC
– Kalamansi juice 1/4 cup or 5 kalamansi
– Garlic, minced 3 cloves
– Brown sugar, 3 tbsp
– Pepper, ground
Procedure:
– Slice the kalamansi to form 1/4 cup calamansi juice
– Slice the garlic
– place all the ingredients on the bowl and mix them together
– place the pork on the marinade and store it in fridge overnight
– the next day prepare the barbeque sticks
– put the pork on the barbeque sticks
– pre-heat the grilling pan
– grill the barbeque on a grilling pan
– cook for 3-5 minutes on each side until cooked and crust develops
– you can use the marinade as dipping sauce by cooking it and adding cornstarch until it thickens
– serve and enjoy!
Tips:
– some other Filipino recipe adds sprite or 7-up sodas as part of the marinade for it to become sweeter.
– you can also add chillies for added hotness
