Inihaw na liempo or grilled pork belly is a tasty dish that’s always present especially during gatherings (think super bowl or karaoke night). The marinade is the best — it uses familiar pinoy ingredients such as soy sauce, ketchup sugar and calamansi (or lemon/lime) that’s marinated for at least several hours. Others put them in skewers but I did it in strips which is just as common.
In this video I also added my signature Java Rice — which garlic fried rice mixed with atsuete water and oyster sauce.
