Foodie Rascals Kyle & Erin makes a classic Vietnamese restaurant dish that taste better at home!
To make sauce for meat marinade:
– 2.5-3 lbs bone in pork chop pre-cut in 1/2 inch-serves 4-5 ppl
– 3 TBSP fish sauce
– 3 TBSP sugar(added to 2 TBSP of hot water to disolve)
– 1 TBSP oyster sauce
– 2 TBSP honey pineapple sauce(recommend you use Kikkoman brand Teriyaki Baste & Glaze with honey pineapple)
– 1/4 TSP black pepper
– 2 TBSP minced lemongrass
– 2 cloves of garlic
Mix marinade well into pork chop, refrigerate 2hrs or overnight.
Grill 5 min ea side on med-low heat. Serve with steam rice, tomatoes, sliced cucumber and a fried sunny side up egg. Vietnamese savory dipping sauce optional(see our spring roll video for recipe to sipping sauce).
