Instant juicy tandoori chicken || Grilled chicken legs

Instant tandoori chicken || Grilled chicken on oven.
Ingredients:
Chicken legs 4
Yogurt or hung curd 1/2 cup
Chilli powder 2tsps
Lemon juice 1tbspn
Salt as per taste
Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tsp
Cumin powder 1/2tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
Coriander powder 1tsp
Shoarma mix powder or garam masala 2tsp
Pepper powder 1tsp
Butter 1tbsp

Steps:
1. Remove the skin on the chicken legs.
2. Cut Slit on many places as shown.
3. Mix lemon juice, 1tsp chilli powder and salt.
4. Apply this mixture into the slits.

NOTE: This step is important for making tandoori chicken as it makes chicken spicy and juicy.

5. Now, mix Ginger garlic paste , chilli powder,cumin powder, coriander powder, shoarma mix or garam masala powder, Turmeric powder , pepper powder and thick yogurt or hung curd.
6. Apply this paste all over the chicken legs.
7. Wrap the mixed bowl and refrigerate it for 30 minutes or make immediately.
8. Cover the oven plate with aluminium foil.
9. Preheat the oven to 160C for 10mins
10. Line up the chicken legs on the oven plate and place it in the oven.
11. Let it cook on the plate for 20 minutes, this makes the chicken to absorb masala well.
12. After 20 mins, shift the legs to grill plate in the oven.
13. After 10 mins, apply butter on both the sides and turn down the legs to cook on both the sides. This step is important for not letting it dry while grilling.
14. 20 mins later, Check with a fork, if the chicken has cooked.
15. Once cooked serve remove the plates from oven and serve.

Cooking time differs on the size of the chicken legs. Mine took 1hr 20mins to cook.
