Root beer contains well balanced flavors which are perfect for cooking.
Serving for 6:
1 large bone-in pork chop for each serving
Season pork chops with the following combined ingredients, or use your favorite mixture:
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp thyme powder
1 tsp oregano powder
1 tsp black ground pepper
2 tablespoon (more or less) olive oil to sprinkle over pork chops while cooking
1 sliced large onion; sauté the onion on the stove in medium temperature in 8 ounces or ½ cup unsalted butter until is translucent.
For the glaze:
2 cups chicken broth
2 cups root beer
Combine the broth and root beer and reduced on the stove at medium temperature to obtain about ½ cup of syrup consistency (will take approximately 20 minutes).
