[Music]hi there YouTube how’s it going I’mJerry and I’m the host of this newprogram the chai town griller is June2020 never too late to start a newchannel right anyways like a lot of youI’ve been spending a lot more time athome these days being at home is greatbut it’s created a whole new set ofchallenges one of these challenges isthat my go-to recipes are getting alittle bit tired now whether you are abeginner or a seasoned cheflooking up new recipes online can bevery daunting recipes online tend to bevery very long have a very longingredients list or the ingredients arevery hard to find and things that yousimply don’t stock at home now I ran ina same problems and had one very simplesolution just grill it now grilling isgreat because a lot of the recipes tendto be very simplemany of the recipes that I will sharecan be made with ten or fewer items manyof which can be even done with five orfewer items and that is my goal for thischannel to give you simple recipessimple ingredients simple grilling yetnot compromising on taste or flavor allthese recipes will be prepared righthere on my patio on this Weber Q 2,000gas grill so now with the introductionout of the way I’d like to present toyou my inaugural dish for this channelgrilled crispy buffalo chicken wingsall right and here we are in the kitchenwe are getting ready to prepare our dishgrilled buffalo chicken wings as you cansee we can prepare this dish with justnine ingredients we’re starting out withone pound of cut chicken wingssalt and pepper olive oil Frank’s redhotoriginal hot sauce ranch dressing 2tablespoons of butter and a couplesticks of both celery and carrots now ifyou don’t care about the sides or anyfixings or doctoring up your hot saucethen this recipe is down to just fiveingredients okay and now we’ve unwrappedour chicken wings and put them in a bowlas you can see they come in both swordspieces the flats and the drum mittsnow I got these chicken wings fromMarianas which is a supermarket chainhere in Chicago and maybe look elsewhereI have found that about one pound ofwings is good for one person and twopounds of wings are good for two peopleand so forth but adjust accordingly thefirst step to getting these wingsprepped is to pour olive oil over thetop of them now I don’t really measurethem out I just pour over the top andget plenty on there because it’s whathelps prevent them from sticking to thegrates and gives the wings they’re crispthe second step is you’re going to addthe salt to tasteand then you’re gonna take your pepperand also add the taste I tend to addquite a bit of pepper but go a littlebit light on the salt because there’splenty of salt in the hot sauce andpepper is what kind of gives it a littlebit extra flavor then you’re gonna putyour hands in there mix them up and getall the oil salt and pepper over all ofthe chicken and now they are ready forthe grill okay and now here on the patiowe’ve preheated this grill on high forabout 10 to 15 minutes and now the firstthing you’re gonna want to do before youcook is you’re gonna want to scrapethese grates clean of any grease orresidue from previous cooks the reasonis the chicken skin will stick ifthere’s any residue left on these grillsso let’s scrub this nice and clean nowthat our grates are clean we’re gonna goahead and put our chicken across thegrill grates after turning it down to alow heat now the reason why chicken cookon a low heat is so that it cooks allthe way through but prevents the chickenskin from burning so let’s go ahead andlay these out nice and evenly and thenwe will close the lid and keep oncooking for about 40 minutesnow don’t wander too far because we’regonna want to turn the chicken aboutevery eight minutes the chicken willstick to the gratesif you wait too long so eight minutesseems to be about the sweet spot solet’s give these all flip and nowthey’re all flipped and we’ll close thelid and we’ll check on these every eightminutes and give them a turn now as weget close to the end of 40 minutes herewe want to prepare our sauce we havesome butter in a pan our whisk and nowwe’re gonna go ahead and pour about fourto five ounces of that hot sauce andwhisk it around a little bitnow I generally use that little amountof hot sauce four or five ounces all youneed because I don’t like my wingsdrowning and sauce and I find it easierto control the amount of sauce that youcut on these wings by using a smalleramountand out here back out on the patio weare at the forty minute mark so we’regoing to take these chicken off thegrill and we’re just gonna plop it rightinto the pan with that sauce that we’vejust prepared one at a timeand once we get all that chicken inthere we’re gonna just kind of shake itaround and we’re gonna use our tongs andtoss it around and if you see any barespots get covered in that sauce youshould have just enough sauce to get alight layer on all those wings and backinside we have our final dish plated upwith the celery carrots and
