How to make Stir-Fry Sauce used in the videos:
1 Cup of Oyster sauce
1/2 cup of Thai thin soy sauce
1/2 cup of Thai sweet soy sauce
Go ahead and mix your sauces
Pour the Stir-Fry Sauce in a container
Keep the Sauce stored in the fridge

[Music]hi thanks for tuning to another episodeof tony cooks thai on today’s episode iwanted to change things up a little bitand actually do a grilling recipe sincethe weather is starting to warm up butwe can actually start going outdoors alittle bit more here in the northeast solet’s go over the ingredients that we’regoing to need for this Thai stylegrilled chicken let’s go over theingredients for this recipe so I havefive drumsticks curry powder coarseground black pepper some cilantro stemsideally you would like to use the rootsof the cilantro but I don’t have that onhand so I’m just using the stems whichwill still give you the flavor that youneed and five cloves of garlic I’ll alsobe using my stir-fry sauce which I’llpost the recipe down below in thedescription of this video so to beginI’m going to go ahead and add my garlicand cilantro stems into my mortar andpestle and I’m going to begin to smashthat up so that I can build a pace toadd to my marinade if you do not have amortar and pestle feel free to use asmall food processorokay nap of my garlic and cilantro is tothe consistency that I want I’m going togo ahead and add my ground pepper ifyou’re using whole peppercorns you’regonna go ahead and add it at thebeginning and smash the cilantro garlicand whole peppercorns all at the sametime okay so now I’m going to go aheadand add the garlic cilantro and peppermixture as well as my tumor and mystir-fry sauce we’re gonna go ahead andgive this a thorough mix make sure thechicken is completely covered so we’regoing to go ahead and make our chickento make sure it’s thoroughly covered inthe marinade and we’re gonna let thismarinate for at least two hours ideallyif you have the time you can marinate itovernight so I’m gonna go ahead and putthis in the fridge until I’m ready togrow this alright now I’m gonna go aheadand take my chicken out to the grillit’s been marinating for just about fourhours nowokay so I went ahead and preheated mygrill and I sprayed it with a nonstickspray and now I’m gonna go ahead and addmy chickenso after about five minutes I’m gonna goahead and just check on my chicken andmake sure that it’s not burning[Music]so continue to watch their chicken androtate it so that it cooks evenly you’regoing to continue to check on thechicken to make sure is cooking evenlyso after 30 minutes on a medium heat mychicken has gotten to the right colorfor this recipe so I’m going to go aheadand plate okay so I’m gonna go ahead andgrab a few of these and start playingthem upand there you have it Thai stylebarbeque chicken served with sweet chilisauce thanks for watching I hope youenjoyed this recipe please give it athumbs up if you did and also subscribeso you can keep up to date when I postmore recipes
