In this video I’ll show you how to make pork belly burnt ends in a pellet grill. These burnt ends were absolutly delicious and you should definitly give them a go. Here I’m making the pork belly burnt ends on a pit boss pellet grill but this will work on any grill or smoker.

hey guys Sam from baller BBQ here todaywe’re making some pork belly boon tinson a pit boss pellet grill I can’t waitso let’s get into it[Music]okay so here we have the pork belly I’mgoing to use for the parent ends I’vealready gone ahead and pulled the skinoff and I’ve just put a little bit ofsalt on there as well now pull that skinoff because we want these to render downso they’ll just melt melt in your mouthif we lift the skin on that skin wouldjust end up going a bit tough and wedon’t want that we’re not makingcrackling or anything so what I’m goingto do is just cut this into about 1 inchcubes we’re leaving all that fat on as Isay we want that to ring bit down andjust be absolutely beautifulnow once the pork belly is all cubed upyou just want to throw it into a bowland I’ve got here just a nice sweet rubthat I’ve made up but you can useanything I just prefer the sweet rubs asI think pork goes really well with thatsugar or a mix it all up make sure thatevery surface of that port is covered inthere and the rubso once you’ve got your cubes all coatedin the season we’re just going to put itinto a pan trying to evenly space themso that the pieces aren’t touching so wewanted to create a really nice bark andwind it down evenly as wellonce it’s all in there we’ll take it outto the grillokay so I’ve got the pit-boss turned upto 150 degrees which is about 300Fahrenheit I’m just gonna sit thosethose cubes in thereI’ll give it about two hours and thenwe’ll come back and we’ll put someliquid into that and I’ll show you thatlater onso these burned ends now been in thesmoker for two hours at 150 degrees andyou can see they’ve rendered down reallynicely quite a bit of sticky sugarysyrup in there now what I’m gonna do isjust make a little bit of a pile hereI’m just putting a bit of apple juice inthere which will help kind of steamthese beans and I’m just putting alittle bit more of that rub on there aswellthere’s the as the apple juiceevaporates and themes it’s just going tolet this rub soak right into the meatand I’ll put a bit of tinfoil on it justto trap all that theme and all thoseflavorsget a tin foil on there nice and tightno gaps around the edgesI’m gonna leave that in there foranother two hours it will come back andcheck on it then there’s been anothertwo hours these things going to beabsolutely delicious Lee just melt inyour mouthwhy now but we’re just going to put someof the sauce on I’ve got a Traeger thesweet heat source so I’m just gonna poursome of that on to these venting andjust stir it through this sauce is justgonna give those bendings just a littlebit of heat and they’re just going toadd for that sweetness of all the rub aswell now we just want to stir it up makesure that every surface that me iscovered with the sauce and the gooeysyrup in the bottom of the pannow I just leave those in there forabout 15 to 20 minutes uncovered andjust let that sauce set all right so nowit’s been 20 minutes later and thesethings are looking amazing so we’regoing to take them inside and give thema tryall right guys after four and a halfhours these beans are ready to eat Ican’t wait and so let’s get into it sohere we go the nice and tenderthat’s just why apart all that fat inthere is just rendered and delicious mmmthat’s goodsticky and sweet and just melts in yourmouthhmm no it’s so good all right so that’sit that’s how to make pork belly boonends on a pit boss pellet grill so ifyou liked the video give it a sharealike and subscribe and we’ll see younext time
