Louis ribs yesthey’re also maple syrup or somethinglike that so I don’t know maybe notmaple syrup but maybe maple flavoring onthem so that’s very cool very cool soI’m going to show you guys what we’regonna season them with so I’ll show youguys we’re gonna do a thumb and get themready first things firstso I want to start off with a little bitof olive oil first things firstdone Anna already wrong that is not thefirst thing to do okay not too much thatdon’t drench her and then we’re justgonna spread this boom did you take themembrane no first things first we’regonna flip the ribs on the back sidehere and we’re going to take themembrane off so they make it look reallyeasy on all the YouTube videos andeverything but it gets kind of slipperyand nasty so I want to show you guyswhat I kind of do here it takes a hotSEC I mean all right once you get a nice[Applause]paper towel peel that baby back it’s nota good pool there that’s not a good poolnot a good you see the membrane comingoff let’s try this againlet’s get a little deeper over here allthe way down this side of the bone atthe top here I think this might be themove and then we’ll go ahead and try togo down from there[Music][Music]all right membrane is removed so nextwe’re gonna put on the olive oil I mayor may have not have already put theolive oil on the other side but we’regonna put a little bit on each side herenot too much now you don’t want to getit too drenched and then we’re gonna goahead and spread it out with the spoonnext our second ingredient will be somekosher salt from our man Horton[Music]be generous don’t be afraid next blackpepper very simple[Music]and our final ingredient I’ve got someactual maple BB Hughes since these areBB q maple ribs so I figured it’d govery well with them give them sweet keepthem tasty fall off the bone hopefullyso I actually do have to pop the top onthese as it is brand new so I’m gonnaput it very very generous amount verygenerous I mean because this is the backof it so you don’t I mean it’s all goodplus we’re out there very business I’mout on the front make sure we get thesides here don’t forget about the sidesa lot of people sleep on that cakeBaker’s manso now we flipped over to the other sidewe have already put olive oil on thisside I do remind you of that and we’redo the same thing on this side saltpepper BB q ro[Music][Music]all right I think that is good on theroad we got a great amount on the bothsides as well as the sides so other thanthat fellas that is gonna be it for themarinating process I’m just gonna coverthis up with foil put it in the fridgeother than that all right Phyllis ohit’s a beautiful day outside I must saygreat during this whole coronaviruspandemicgood to have a nice day out so this isthe supplies that we’ve got to get thegrill going I don’t have one of thosechimney things yet so I am gonnaunfortunately be using lighter fluid forthe kettle charcoal grill but this isall you really need and I got some woodchips over here I just soaked in watertoo so there should be pretty niceadding some flavoralright fellas so we’ll go ahead and letthis fire get started so the way we’regonna cook these is obviously we’regonna have a non heat side over herewithout the coals we’re gonna try toslow cooking for maybe about three or sohours you do probably want to have thetemperature around two hundred and fiftydegrees and 194 when the ribs come offthe grill also I did want to put a waterpan drip tray under there but I did nothave one so I’m probably gonna end uphaving to spray the ribs mid grill maybeonce an hour with some water I don’thave any apple juice either so it’sprobably had to be water to keep themmoistother than that excited man I’m gonnaalso make some potatoes too[Music][Music]hey I know you guys are probablywondering what’s going on here what ishe looking at I am actually grindingthese spotlight Sims on my phone so whatI’m doing is if you guys already followme from – okay you know getting a hugelead over there inside on the game realquick and then I’m just kind of out hererunning out the clock I got the remoteplay going on the phone I’m justbringing the ball at the core wastingtime you know what I mean so I’m on thegrind I’m on the ground so I bring it upwith Turk right now then I’ll go back inonce it gets close and I’ll take a leadagain so that’s kind of what’s going onin my world right now alright guys soI’m gonna go ahead and throw this on thegrill I’m gonna put it over here on thisside of the grill I’m not gonna sear itor anything I’m gonna let slow cook I’malso gonna throw these wood chips on thecoals so let me do that actually firstalright boy so now we’ve got our ribs onthe grill we’re gonna go ahead and putthis on here and I’m gonna probably openthis but close it a little bit as welland you want that side on the meat sideyou want it away from the cold so allthe smoke and flavor is going towardsthe meat so sorry it’s a little blurrymy fault but uh yeah so now we’re justgonna pretty much probably wait about anhour and then we’ll come check on themalright boys it’s been about an hour orso so we’re gonna go ahead and put somewater on them they’re probably gonna bea little bit dry so let’s check them outhere I’m pretty excited I got my trustytrusty water bottle here my spray bottlehere and my son’s Captain Marvelyou know I’m saying alright let’s checkthem out who they are looking a littledry you can see the balls coming in alittle bit on their gonna turn thesearound I did definitely make a mistake Iput the wrong side of the meat for thecause so I’m gonna put that right now weget some nice water on them there so letme turn that around for the rest justright so now the bums are this way Ishouldn’t do thatstarted off that’s just a rookie mistakebut hey guys second power I’ve got thepotatoes about to go on let’s check outthe ribs really good guys really goodwanna wrap them in some foil mouth andprobably leave them off for aboutanother hour and then we’ll put barbecuesauce on them and leave them off likeanother 45 minutesI wanna go get a few more things atcharcoal and just throw them in there iscoming up on almost our three thepotatoes looking nice and the stirringup here and I’m going to put somebarbecue sauce on the ribs thirtyminutes or sooh yeah they’re looking really primebecause you can see the bone hopefullyyou can see that looking goodokay mom before he broke it why wouldthat be a bad signyou just broke the whip alright so I didbreak the ribs but they are looking sogood it’s ridiculous only put some sauceon them here[Music]but all these are gonna be so good allright guys I think our work here is justabout donelook it they’ll pull back on these bombsman this is the best I’ve ever donepersonally I’m really really excited youknow they look like they’re all at thebone from the part that’s kind of brokenright there dude oh my god thesepotatoes are coming along as well whoo Imight give them like just a couple moreminutes and then I’m ripping them off[Music]alright guys so real quick while thesepotatoes finish up on the grill I’mgonna chuck the part of the rib that’sactually broken I can’t wait any longerhere for a minute man dude they arefalling off the bone can you guys seethis oh my gosh there we go there we gofocus on all brobro dude I’ve never made rid of thisdude ever they are falling off the bonefinally I got the perfect perfect way todo this fellas a few adjustments hereand there but dude I didn’t even eat itdude his falling off the bottom I’ve gotto cut it out alright guys in conclusionwith the ribs they were definitelyfalling off the bone so I’m reallyreally pleased with the progress on theslow cook so that was really nice but Iwill say they needed a little bit moreflavor they were a little bit dry so Idefinitely wishing I had that water panunder there I feel like that would havehelped so maybe next time we’ll have thewater pan for sure but other than that Igotta figure out how to get a little bitmore flavor onto him but they were stillreally good man I’m really really happythat they were just but other than thatI will
