I smoked some double cut pork chops on the Oklahoma Joe’s Rider DLX pellet grill for two hours at 200F.
When the chops reached an internal temperature of 140F they were pulled from the pit and allowed to rest while the pellet grill was put into Sear mode.
The chops got a quick sear and were glazed with pepper jelly. These chops were Amazing!

good morning folks it’s a beautiful daydown here in Baton Rouge that makes usthe perfect time to fire up the barbecuepit today I’m working with a couple ofthick-cut pork chops on the Oklahoma Joerodder DLX pellet grill let’s get thiscamera turned around and get startedokay we’ve got the oklahoma joe pelletgrill set up in smoke mode got it set to200 degrees it’s been bouncing between193 205 pretty good temperature controlthere couple just beautiful thick cutpork chopsmake sure I got the grill setup[Music]I’ve got one of the top racks back inhere that’s wrong to be doing the spokentoday I don’t have a heat deflector or awater pan here just gonna run straightas it is I just measured the temperatureup on this top grade is running rightinto a degree so I’m really happy withthat let’s go ahead and get these porkchops on[Music]the DLX comes with one feet probe I’vegot that into this job here right nowit’s sitting around 44 degrees I’m gonnapull these off when they hit an internaltemp of 140 and I’m gonna sear them onthat grate I figure it’s gonna takeabout two hours for those pork chops tofinish smoking so in the meantime let mewalk you over to my BBQ goodie box andlet me show you what I got going onafter I smoke and see of those porkchops I’m gonna hit him with a littlesecret sauce I like to take some pepperjelly methamelt that in the microwave brush that onto the top right at the very end givethem just a beautiful color and mylittle sweet heat component so there yougo secret sauce for smoked pork chopsall right chops just hit 141 you getthese guys off the pit oh look at thatthose are beautiful just like they areI’m gonna go ahead and put a sear onthem all right let’s move it over tosear and take our tip up to medium letthis guy settle out for about fiveminutes while these chops are restingand after the done rest I’m gonna put asear on them and Basin with a littlepepper jelly all right I gave these guysa flip put the pepper jelly on themmanthere’s some serious good eats rightthereall right I’ve been waiting two hours onthese guys I’m gonna go dig in man thesechops turned out spectacular look atthat beautiful color super juicy nicehole smoking out know that smoke ringshowing up this camera not but it’sthey’re super pleased with Oklahoma Joepellet smokerthis guy’s a winner all right guys I’llsay it again be awesome grill happythanks for watching
