Fried Chicken Recipes (Sweet Teriyaki and Chipotle Honey BBQ) | Cook and Unwind

Ingredients:

8-10 Whole Chicken Wings
Vegetable Oil for Frying
1 Cup of Milk
2 Eggs
2 Cups of Flour
Seasoned Salt
Chipotle Seasoning
Honey
Soy Sauce
Teriyaki Seasoning
Sweet and Spicy BBQ Sauce

Directions:

Step 1 – Crack eggs in a large pot or bowl. Remove shells, if necessary. Pour in milk. Add seasoned salt and an additional seasoning of choice. Whisk together until evenly distributed.

Step 2 – Split the whole chicken wings in half using a sharp knife or food scissors. Then, drop them in the eggs, milk and seasonings mixture. Flip the chicken wings until they are fully submerged, and then let them marinate while you prepare the flour coating.

Step 4 – Add seasoned salt, your additional seasoning of choice, and flour to a plastic bag. Close, and shake until well-combined.

Step 5 – Heat about a third of a pan of vegetable oil in an iron skillet or frying pan on medium-high heat. Place chicken wings in the bag of seasoned flour. Shake it until they are fully covered. Then, remove them from the bag and place them in the iron skillet one at a time. Repeat until there is no more room in the skillet.

Step 6 – Fry the first side for 5 to 7 minutes. Then, flip and repeat once or until both sides are golden brown.

Step 7 – Place the fried chicken wings in a pan layered with paper towels. Then, sauce them or serve as is!
