hey y’all today we’re going to begrilling up some chicken thighs in ourninja foodie grill Oh having a whole lotof fun hey will you be my girlfriendoh my and definitely that chicken isdone and boy does it smell good anotherdish from recipes that crock calm thishot chicks food rock and today we’regoing to do something really quick andsimple for foodie Friday and we have ournew contraption the grill and we’ve beenkind of testing it out I say we Ihaven’t got to play with it yet she’sbeen tested out I’ve been eating whatshe’s been testing and I really liked ita lot so if you hear a lot of backgroundnoise the grill is preheating right nowthat is one of the things that itautomatically does whenever you try tocook with the grill part of it so whatwe’re going to do today is just show youa super simple way to make grilledchicken it’s very similar to how we makegrilled chicken out on our back deckgrill and so except we don’t have to getcoldhey look at this it’s raining outsideand I do all the grilling pretty muchwhen it’s outside grilling and sugarmelts I guess he does the grilling whenit’s raining outside not anymorethis we were wondering how an indoorappliance would measure up to ouroutdoor grill and I’ll have to say sofar I’ve been really really impressedbut let’s go ahead and get this on hereso what you’re going to do if you’redoing this indoors or outside is youwant to pre-heat your grill to a mediumheat and this isn’t like using like theninja foodie like the air fryer whereyou can just put stuff in and then turnit on just like a normal grill you’reheating up those grates that are inthereyou want to pretty this yes so wheneveryou look inside it’s gonna shut off forus you’ll see MIT we have the the bowlthat comes or the pan that comes insideit’s very hot be very careful be verycareful and we also have the grillcomponent that’s in there so it’s allpreheated and very very hot very hot sowhat we’ve got hereare about six to eight boneless skinlesschicken thighs you can use any kind ofboneless chicken I’m you’re just gonnahave to adjust the time to make sureyour chicken is done so what we’ve doneis we’ve just sprinkled this with alittle bit of meat tenderizer because Iwas testing a package of chicken fromthe other day and so I went ahead andseason to everything at that time andjust throw it in a bag and put it backin my fridge so mine’s already seasonyou can season it with whatever you wantif you want a special um differencesometimes to your chicken you could eventry some steak season I like to seasonmy chicken sometimes a steak seasoningit just kind of gives it a differentflavor so as you can tell this is reallyhot we are gonna place these the smoothside down first and what I typicallylike to do on my grill outside or mygrill inside it just makes the easierwhen we go to flip it later so is thisall going here that Siddeley all that’sa good preheat now that I was worriedabout is you know when I’m grillingoutside there’s usually a lot of smokebecause well it’s the grill know thatthis thingnot produce a lot of smoke it doesn’tproduce any smoke we’ve seen in thehouse we didn’t use it in the house ofcourse now if you were doing a big bigbatch and you had lots of liquid and fatcooked down into the bottom foodie doessuggest that you empty out the pan inbetween yes um if she gives you the sloplike that where it goes down as I dealwith smoking that I’ll tell you what Idid bacon the other day and then I justput that in and did chicken right afterit and I didn’t have any smoking we’re anon-smoking family ok so now what we’regonna do is we’re gonna put the lid downand we’re gonna cook this on sevenminutes on medium heat it automaticallywent to ten for me so I’m gonna to takeseven minutes just like you do on thegrill outside yep we do seven minutesit’s happy now um it’s gonna cook forseven minutes and we’ll see you back andwe’ll do a flip in three two I’m notthat flexible three two one and we areback and it is time to do a flip of thechicken okay Oh see that pop-up uh-huhyou gotta be very careful yeah so yepyou can see that it’s made nice grillmarks y’all look at them grill marksall right now look at it I want to showyou guys to something look at thoseclowns she’s using those we’ve got asilicone liner on them that’s becauseyou don’t want to scratch this baby upnopeall right so now we are just gonnasimply close the lid and we’re gonna putit on for another seven minutes this iswhen you need to get all your fixingsready for how you’re gonna eat yourgrilled chickenwhat kind of fixing is the you use foryour chickens so we’ll see you back herein three two one and we are back and thechicken is done the tongs are now allwashed because when you’re turningchicken it’s raw chicken and so sorryI’m flinging water everywhere ha but youwant to make sure wash your tongsbecause you know chicken juicer so thisis what we come out with I bring thecamera over to show you but really it’sgrilled chicken there oh you need towait check that out not only did it giveit grill marks but when you flip thatchicken over it’s kind of like an airfryer too and it gives a nice beautifulgolden hue this is gonna be super tendercan’t remember if I told you go this ornot but that grill gets hot okay weenjoy we enjoy eating grilled chickenover salad as sandwich just as it is butone of the things that we like to do alot and you guys have seen us do withour grill while we are me is we like tomake lettuce wraps with them and so theway that we do that is with some bellpepper and then we like to get thisbutter of lettuce that you can find inthe salad area it’s like a little headof a head of lettuce and then you justpull off the leaves and wash them andwhat I’m going to do is I’m going to cutupthis chicken so Mikey can startassembling him I rap and I’ll share itwith you guysone thing I like about that foodie grillis that after the set time limit it’sjust like any of the other appliancesyou have if it’s got a time limit itwill shut the grill off where your thegas grill won’t do that but you alsowant to make sure that you don’t forgetabout it because just because it shutoff doesn’t mean it cool down right awayof course we know after seven minutesthat that chickens gonna be done but seefor 10 bison baby in there look at thatjuices coming out of there that juicesthem juices coming out of there yeah anddefinitely that chicken is done and boydoes it smell good and all I’m doingover here is I’m just gonna take a fewpieces of bell pepper I’ll put a littlered in there too for color sake and Iwill take me a little bit of ranchdressing or you can do it either way youtotally could I like it done in my waythis one it makes more of a mess so justtake some of this chicken though goodshampoo guess what y’all it’s hot boy ohboy does it smell goodand not once did I get wet Chris didwhen I flung that water honor but that’sdifferent yeah yeah it’s like I saidy’all sugar melts all right before I getmyself in trouble let’s go ahead and getsome of this so you got your you gotyour lettuce and your pepper and yourchicken and your ranch messy and youdon’t have to add a whole lot ofanything to it no now for those of youwho would rather cook chicken breast umyou’re just gonna have to watch yourtime on it I think the grill itselfcomes with specific specificationsespecially it’ll let you cook fromfrozen but we wanted to try somethingthat we cook all the time in our housejust to kind of compare and it cooked upjust like it did on the girls so I wouldsuggest if you grill your chicken breastit’s gonna take about the same amount oftime cons with this it’s small batchyou’re not gonna cook for 20 people atone time using the foodie grill whereyou could do it with like a gas grill ora charcoal grill but pros it’s rainingoutside and we got the same kind ofchicken the same flavor the same timecooking that we would if we were doing ahard gas grill outside I wouldn’t saythe outside might even be just a littlebit more crispier than our outside curlyeah depending on the inside one yeahhey I did it gave a golden skin on theoutside so there’s a lot of flavor thereare a lot of good textureit wasn’t smoky in here at all andclaimed that honestly cleanup is abreeze once that cools down don’t messwith it till it cools down trust me onceit cools down I’m gonna take those twopieces out of there the grill unit andthe pan you can clear out the greasefrom the bottom andwash it I’m just telling them how itshould be nice you said you were gonnado it
