“Great British Menu” is a celebrated BBC culinary competition where top British chefs vie for the honor of cooking a course at a prestigious banquet. The show is set to return for its landmark 20th series in early 2025 on BBC Two.

New Judge Introduction:

Acclaimed chef Lorna McNee will join the judging panel, bringing her expertise as a former Great British Menu champion and one of the UK’s most decorated chefs. She will sit alongside returning judges Tom Kerridge and Ed Gamble. McNee succeeds Nisha Katona, who is stepping down after three years on the show.

Series Theme: “Great Britons”:

The 20th series will celebrate “Great Britons,” with chefs drawing inspiration from notable individuals in their regions, spanning from ancient to modern history. Each episode will feature a guest judge connected to the region being showcased, adding depth to the culinary narratives.

Cookbook Release:

In conjunction with the new series, a commemorative cookbook celebrating the 20th series is set to be released on January 30, 2025. The book is available for pre-order, offering fans a curated selection of dishes that have graced the banquets over the years.
