This twist on traditional pizza is infused with Indian flavors and is a crowd pleaser. Easy to make and has very little cooking time involved. I show the preparation from beginning to end to make it even easier for you to make for your whole family.
Grilled Chicken Curry Flatbreads
1/2 cup shaved carrot
2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
1/2 cup rice vinegar
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons curry powder
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
1/2 cup plain whole-milk yogurt (not Greek-style)
2 teaspoons honey
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 (8.8-oz.) pkg. whole-grain naan
2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken breast (about 8 oz.), warmed
2 ounces fresh snow peas, very thinly diagonally sliced (about 1/2 cup)
1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
1/4 cup dry-roasted unsalted peanuts, chopped
1/4 cup golden raisins

[Music]well hello againhappy Thursday again from one top biteMelissa here and we are gonna makegrilled chicken curry flat breads todaythese are beautiful they’re so flavorfulthey have so many yummy elements to itI’m gonna show you a couple tips alongthe way because maybe it’s someingredients you haven’t worked withbefore and this is just tasty this isnot what I would consider a low-calorieI mean it’s not crazy it’s under 500it’s 453 calories per flatbread and I’mgonna show you some of the products weuse for this it is so flavorful so funand quick and easy you could puttogether with just stuff that you havein your fridge some veggies and somerotisserie chicken that’s somethingalways nice to have on hand but thiscomes together actually really reallyquick and it’s a favorite this is a spinon a traditional pizza if you don’t liketomato sauce I know people that don’tlike tomatoes and I think that’s sodifferent to me but if you don’t liketomato sauce and you don’t want to useany cheese or anything like that thishas no cheese no tomato sauce it has agreat curry flavor how Indian flavorsand it’s just is a power pleaser andwe’re back at it again with deliciousfresh awesome ingredients make sure yousubscribe and hit that like buttonand honestly hit the bell if you wantnotifications and every time I send outa new video you’ll get a notificationand those of you that haven’t done thatyou probably missed my baking specialthat I did just earlier this week soanyhow go back and check that video outif you haven’t seen it and let’s can’tcook it so we need 1/2 a cup of shavedcarrot and I’ve always tried to figureout before until I learned how to do ashaved carrot and I’m gonna show you howto do that but look at this carrot it’snot the biggest carry I’ve ever seen Iknow where they grow these things let’sgo and shave it okay I’m gonna show youtwo ways to shave this gigantic carrotif you have one of these grading boxesyou can pick the side that has thosegrooves and you can justslide right down and these are thebeautiful shavings you’re gonna get soif you don’t have one of these you canget skinnier shavings by just using aregular peel pressing in pretty deep andyou can get the same kind of ideathey’re just a little bit skinnier butthey’ll both work okay we’re gonnapickle our carrots and our ginger saucefirstso one teaspoon of sugar a half a cup ofvinegar fourth a cup of water ourcarrots a gingerwe’re gonna bring this to boil and letit simmer for about a minute okay I hadmentioned that we are not going to do atomato sauce so this is the sauce we’regoing to use we need one teaspoon ofolive oil one and a half teaspoons ofcurry powder stir this together andmicrowave for 45 seconds[Music]okay so we have all of our ingredientsput together we have our history chickenour pickled carrots our snow peas ouryummy curry sauce yogurt curry goldenraisins cilantro our peanuts and nowwe’re gonna grill our nut on bread andthat’s what’s gonna be our flatbread solet’s get those grilled up and thenwe’ll assemble them together and I’llshow you how awesome they come togetherI’m also gonna show you a littledecoration trick[Music]here’s my little decorating trick I havea ketchup bottle style I’m gonna fill itwith a bunch of this and then I’ll showyou how we’re gonna decorate in the end[Music]and there we have it another hot bitefrom one hot bite these delicious flatbreads let’s give it a taste see so good[Music]so good finger lickin good that’s whatthat is so go ahead and give this one atry make sure you subscribe and I willsee you next Thursday[Music]you
