bestcinnamon pepper wings on the planetthat’s a days video i’ma show you how tomake mojito rum wings now you guysalready know how I feel about cookingwith alcohol I love to make our sauceswith alcohol it just tastes so good plusyou kill two birds with one stone youknow what I’m saying so if you ready forthis delicious recipe I hope in yourkitchenI’m already – on this go[Music]alright guys so here are the ingredientswe’re going to use for today’s recipe wehave our published green wash chickensome cumin we’re going to use limeminced garlic black pepper some orangejuice olive oilkosher salt mint leave that Bacardican’t make a mojito without a little rumnow you don’t have to use the wrong butof course I’m gonna use wrong becauseyou can’t make a mojito with that wrongand this is not a nun alcoholic wingdish but you can’t make it that waywe got diced onions oregano leaves andwe have some fresh cilantro so these arethe ingredients we’re gonna use for thisrecipe so man I’m anxious let’s getstarted alright guys so I’ve alreadycooked and cleaned our chicken andmeasured out our ingredients so where Ihere what I have a half a cup of orangejuice fourth of a cup of lime juice 2tablespoons of minced garlic 1tablespoon of cilantro 1 tablespoon ofchopped mint eighth of a cup of wrongyou don’t have to use the wrong rememberguys though you can use a little bitless and depends on do it to your desireteaspoon 2 teaspoons of salt 2 teaspoonsof pepper 1/4 of a cup of olive oil 1teaspoon of oregano 1 teaspoon of cuminand 1/4 of a cup of chopped onion sothese are the ingredients we’re going touse to prepare our marinadeso let’s go ahead and move to the nextstep I hope you guys excited cuz I amalright so what we’re going to do now iswe’re going to start by mixing theseingredients here so the first thingwe’re going to do is we’re going to putour garlic into the dish with the orangejuice next let’s add our chopped onionsand let’s do our lime juice anddo all wrong so what we’re gonna do nowis we’re going to give just give it aquick mix to combine these ingredientsall right take a look at that all rightso what we’re going to do now is we’regoing to heat our olive oil up in thissaucepan and we want to you know makesure it gets as hot as possible which isyou wait you can see the smoke comingout just a little bit and then once youdo that you want to add your we’re goingto add this mixture this launch thismixture to the to the sauce pan with theoil as you can see it’s starting tobubble a little bit you don’t want toget it too hot so when you pour it intothe Panda this starts to splash so thisis going to civilization[Music]so what we want to do is we want this tocook for about five minutes until theonions and the garlic kind of softens asyou can see guys it’s starting to cometo a boil and once it comes to a boilwhat I’m gonna do is I’m gonna turn itdown and i’ma let it simmer for theremaining maybe the rain in threeminuteswithin the five minutes you want to kindof continue to stir it all right so whatwe’re going to do now is we’re going tostart adding the remaining of ourseasoning so I’m gonna start here withthe cumin oregano salt pepper thecilantro and the myths I mean the mintokaywe’re gonna give this a good mix andwe’re just gonna let this cook for aboutone or two minutes kind of put thespices in the ingredients the spices into the orange juice mixture all right sonow this is done let me turn this offand what I’m going to do is I’m going toplace a little pour this into my blendergo so this is what we have right hereall right so I’ll see you guys in a bitlet me go grab the rest of my blenderwe’re gonna get this thing blended upalright guys so I’ve already placed ourmixture into our blender but you want tolet it cool down just a little bitbefore you start trying to blend it youcan use a food processor also foodprocessors you don’t really have to waittill it cools off a little bit but inthe blend that you do because that hotair that comes you know when when youblend something that’s hot all thatsteam comes up and it’s just gonna makea big mess so I let it cool down justfor a little bit and then I’m going toblend it but you don’t want to have toyou don’t want to cool it completely butjust not you don’t want where it’s justcoming off the arm just your stove andthis ispiping hot because if you try to blendit that steam is gonna push up throughthat on the top of your blender and it’sgonna spill everywhere I’ve done thatbefore trust me unless you got one ofthose blenders where you could just lockthe top down hit this here is it’s notone of those so alright guys so I seeyou in a bit alright guys so I’m gonnastart blending this thing right nowwe’re gonna do you gonna cut apartall right so now this is done there yougoall right so this is what we have allright so what I’m going to do now sitthat right there take and I’m just goingto pour this into a bowl and what I wantto do is I want this to sit and I wantthis to come to room temperature beforeI pour on my wing so you want to makesure that comes to room temperaturebefore you pour it on your wings thenagain guys this is on loose all rightso maybe about 20-30 minutes and we’llbe right back all right so know that oursauce has cooled off so what I’m gonnado now I put our chicken in a ziplockbag so what we’re gonna do is we justwant to pour this sauce or this marinadeover our chicken like that that andwe’re just gonna get all the air out ofit close it you know what I want to doguys I’m is just me I’m just gonna addthat’s because I like I’m gonna add alittle bit more this wrong in there noyou don’t have to do that but I’m gonnado it I like when my meats are marinatedin alcohol it just gives it a lot ofgive us some dispraise it’s not thatmuch it’s not gonna you know so thatdon’t be worrying about if it’s too muchwhere can you feed you know give it tokids of course the alcohol is gonna cookout of it once you start it the alcoholcontent is gonna cook out of it but juststill have that flavor so you’re not tooworried about thatso right here is I’m gonna let thismarinate for about do but you can let itmarinate for a minimum of four hours upto overnight it’s your choiceso what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna let itmarinate for about four hours and we’llbelike that alright so now what we’regoing to do is we’re going to we’velined our baking sheet up with likealuminum foil this is for easy cleanupand we’re also going to spray our grateswith cooking spray and this helps keepwhat keeps the chicken from sticking tothe grates I highly recommend you dothis I’m telling you this for easycleanup with aluminum foil just pour alittle before hello throw it away andyou’re good and then just rinse off yourpan and the garlic butter I mean thecooking spray is for you to make sureyour chicken does stick to your pan whenyou’re trying to flip it over and itpulls it apart so all right so whatwe’re going to do now we do have ourchicken pieces they fully marinate I letthem marinate for about I love these inhere for about six hours you won’t takea look at that and what I’m going to donow is I’m going to pull them out thismarinade they smell really goodtake a look at this look at that rightso what we’re going to do is we’re goingto put them on this grate and we’regonna leave them skin side down half aninch to an inch aparttry not to overcrowd your pan you wantto make sure you want to get theseticket pieces room to breathe you knowI’m saying don’t you know just likeyou’re like people invade no space thesechicken wing you don’t like invade apersonal space either why that could beyou know what I’m saying so make sureyou give these chicken wings a littleroom to breathe alright guys these aregonna come out so so amazingalright so now we have all our chickenpieces onto our pan so what we’re gonnado next is I’m going to paste these intothe oven I’m gonna put them in there on400 degrees for about 50 minutes I’mgonna turn them over after 25 minutesand then I’m allowed them to finishcooking on the other side for theremaining 20 minutes but again guys asyou get down to the stretch of the cookcooking time you may want to just checkyour chicken pieces because depending onhow hot your stove gets you may need toyou may need to put them in there for 40minutes or 45 minutes I just do mine’sthis way because I know the temperatureof my stove I know how it will notattempt I know how hot my stove gets andI know how cooked my chicken and I alsoknow how I like my chicken I like myextra crispy some people don’t liketheir chicken extra because people tellme sometimes in the coming oh you needyour chicken in there too long no Ileave my chicken in there the time thatI want my chicken in there if you wantto leave your chicken in there less timethen you go ahead and do that but mychicken stays in there the amount oftime I want it in there so guys feelfree to adjust it as you see fit butmost of the time you want to keep yourchicken in there at least 40 minutesespecially if you got at about 400degrees 32 for 35 or 40 minutes but Ikeep mine in there for about 50 minutesso I’ll see you guys in about 25 minutesall right guys so what we’re gonna donow is we’re going to prepare someMojito butter sauce and what we’re gonnause is we’re gonna use four tablespoonsof butter and we’re going to let thatmelt down just a little bit before weadd the rest of our ingredients allright so now what we’re going to do iswe’re going to add two tablespoons ofall mint chopped mint on my add onetablespoon alongi’ma add a tablespoon of maple syrup andI’m gonna add a tablespoon of sugar guyswe’re gonna give this a good mix mix andthen we’re just gonna bring it down thetemperature down and let it simmer allright and we’re gonna let this thingsimmer for about about three minutesthree to five minutes guys what I did -I just I just tasted a little bit ofthis and I decided to add anothertablespoon of ROM – mines I wanted tohave a live that that alcohol taste toit so if you if you don’t have to dothis but if I won’t mind a had thatalcohol mojito taste to it so I had justa little bit it’s not really that strongI recommend you add another tastefulanother teacher another tablespoon to itI’m sorry just to give it that thatflavor now add the teeth at thetablespoon first and then taste it andsee if it’s to your liking and you’llsee what I’m talking about then and ifyou want to just slowly add a little bitmore like say you don’t look your wingstaking like alcohol but you want to havethat mojito and then mint flavor to comeout of those wings all right becausethat I mean it they are mojito wings soyou know you wanted to have that flavorso I’m gonna let this sit for anotherminute or so simmer for another minuteor so and then we’ll be back all rightso now this mojito butter sauce that’sready to putinside a empty bowl should have thisreally already alright so I’m gonna putthis inside this bowl let’s turn thisall right so what we’re going to do iswe’re going to reserve this until thewings are done alright so now what we’regonna do is we’re going to turn thesechicken pieces over and allow them tofinish cooking on the other side nowthat’s why I recommend you get one ofthese these pans with the racks on itthey’re just you know to bake your to doyour wings that way you could cook yourchicken evenly on both sidesalright so we’re gonna put these back inhere for the remaining 25 minutes andI’ll see you guys in a bitall right guys so now I will win thiswe’re gonna bring these things over hereonto the counter look at that this iswhat I’m talking about are you guys likethat color on there alright so let’s goahead and finish this recipe up alrightso now we’re going to remove thesechicken pieces and add them to a cleanplate cuz this is all we’re gonna dowe’re not gonna do any shaky BakeyI mean you can do a little shaking babyif you want to with that butter saucebut what I want to do with this buttersauce is I want to pour it over the topof the wingsthat’s it marinate it in this chicken Imean they’re marinated into the theMojito rum sauce I want to be able totaste the flavor from that also not justthe butter sauce overpowering it sothat’s what I’m gonna do you can do itshaking baby no problem with that butthis is how I want to do mineguys this looks amazing take a look atthatlooks great so what I’m gonna do withthis is I’m going to take that buttersauce and I’m going to just only letthat butter sauce over the top of thesewings look at that look at that mojitobutter sauce look this is how this iswhat you want guys take a look at thatget itsee you just you don’t want to shake itin there you can just get enough of thatsauce over there oh man looks good justtake a look at them and bring a littlebit closer look at that guysall right so let’s finalize this recipeand there you have it guysmojito wrong wings let me know what
