Chef Tony is here to walk you through his recipe for beef jerky in the oven, which uses a few interesting ingredients like orange juice and espresso. in this video we’ll be making homemadebeef jerky India but we I mean only besomething warranty so I’m not by myselfand I have some roast one cup ofWorcestershire sauce3/4 of a cup of tamari soy sauce 2teaspoons and fresh cracked black peppera nice pinch Old Bay seasoning 1teaspoon of granulated garlic 1/2 of ateaspoon of red pepper flakes the zestof two oranges 1 teaspoon of liquidsmoke this is an all natural Hickory 2tablespoons of fresh espresso yeah thatmight not be a little traditional butfor me the old tradition2 tablespoons of ginger powder 1teaspoon of coarse salt and 1 teaspoonof ancho chili powder just whisk allthis together to combine and last butabsolutely not least 2 tablespoons ofhoney this is just organic honey andkind of meld out the mild optional saythe espresso shot we have gone in therenot that I like to tone those down Ithink those more amperage the better Iwant to give you guys a heads up after Iwhisk everything togethermy little noodles sort of goingso I’m kind of hijacking this recipeit’s we’re still gonna make jerky andyou’re still going to do everythingwe’ve done so far but I broke up myVitamix and some other ingredients anduh let’s get back in the kitchen allright so we got two more shots espressoone goes in the recipe the other onegoes to the cuff and here is our BlueRoom earlier half of a bunch of Italianflat-leaf parsleyafter a bunch of cilantro four cloves ofgarlic finely minced this is one cup offinely diced red bell pepper and thenthe juice and we’ll set this aside whilewe get our meat ready this is a fourpound i of lamb roast and I hadflash-frozen that’s why you see thewhite blossom there and so first we’llcut this in half like suchand before we can slice this for jerkyyou have to remove any of the excess fatand while you’re removing the fat youcan also straighten it out some if youwant it to be more squared off if yousee some ugly spots or anything likethat now all we have to do is place allof our strips into the marinade makesure then that they are not stucktogether all in here seal this bad boyup and put it in the fridge untiltomorrow 24 hours of marinate and we areready once you have all of your stripslaid out just like this just pack themdrop some paper towels we’re ready for a175 degree preheat upall right see you have to watchwhen sick he is okie-dokie there theaddress it’s just that simpleI really truly hope that you’ll givethis recipe a try definitely try it ifyou have kids and try with the kidsthey’ll love it I can promise you thatthank you for watching[Music]
