Fire up your smokers! We’re cookin’ up the BEST smoked chicken wings.
INSTRUCTIONS:
-Brine your wings overnight in the fridge- water, salt, brown sugar
-Take out the next day, drain and pat dry with paper towels
-Mix wings with olive oil
-Add your choice of rub- I used a homemade rub, you can find the recipe here:
-Put in ziplock bag and let sit in the fridge for at least 1hr- you can leave it for a few hours or overnight
-Set your smoker anywhere from 225f-250f. Mines set at 235f
-Add your choice of wood- I’m going with hickory and pecan
-Smoke wings for 2-2.5hrs depending on what you set the temp to your smoker at. The wings will be done when they reach an internal temp of 165f
-Mix in your choices of sauce/add rub to your wings- I have hot sauce, bbq sauce, and keeping some plain just with our rub
-Fire up your grill and get ‘er nice n’ hot
-Char wings for 5 minutes on each side
-Pull off grill, add more of your sauce and rub
-EAT!!!
-GO BILLS!!!

what’s up guys it’s meeting Mike my nameis Mike and I love meat today we’refiring up the smokers and cooking thebest chicken wings let’s do it[Music]but the best mafia it’s cooking I’mpsyched I just want to talk to it alittle look but wait we got somebusiness to take care of let’s get ourwings ready for the smokerso I took these wings out of the packageput them in a simple bride water saltbrown sugar let them sit overnight inthe fridgenothing crazy pull them out patted themdry now we’re gonna get to the rubs onit I’ve got a little bit of olive oilmix it up in the bowl so I’m gonna pullmy rubbing now I got about a half cup toa cup of my own homemade rub you can useany rub you want it don’t matter nonelet’s sprinkle it in we’ll get a goodcoating on your wings so those are goodand covered put your wings in a bag andthen we’re gonna let them sit in thefridge for about an hour before we putthem in the smoker so I pulled thesewings out of the fridge they weresitting in there for just over an hourthese are ready to go on the smoker[Music]I got my temps up to 235 anywhere in the225 to 250 range is good these are gonnacook for two or two-and-a-half hoursinternal temperature of 165 I got someHickory wound the smoker it’s gonna getgood flavor to these wings after thedome cooking we’ll take them out and goout to the next step so we pulled ourwings out right at the two-hour markinternal temp of 165 you could eat thewings as is but there’s a rule when itcomes to chicken wingsthey gotta be crispy so I got threebowls here I’m gonna do one hot leaveone plane and one with barbecue so withthe hot I’m just gonna do a little bitof sauce the plain one we’re gonna add alittle bit more of our rub then thebarbecue a little bit of barbecue yourchoice of pop and barbecue sauce I cango Frank’s for hot some sticky fingerssweet southern heat for the barbecue sowe got our sauce on the rub put on thewings let on the sauce for this firstround we’re gonna go pop these mofos onthe grill I got the heat cranked up highwe’re gonna cook them five minutes oneach side these are gonna crisp up thesewings and get them ready to eat this isone of the most beautiful things I’veever seen I put them on the grillCharlie for five minutes on each sidebrought them back in put a little bitmore sauce on so guy my hot my plain rubin my barbecue and just look at the charon these wings I mean that’s crazyyou can hear the crunch his skin is youtake the bite you just rip the meat offthe bone and then this one is again justlook at the charge barbecues one of myfavorites these are perfect and then yougot the hot well you gotta try thesewings like this three ways perfectlycharred if you try them let me know theyturn out the man in the meantime alittle crush this plate of wings staytuned for the next video[Music]you
