Here’s what you do:
** this recipe is actually for 2 racks of ribs. I only made one for video purposes.**
1. Set your oven to 375 degrees. Rinse and pat dry your ribs.
2. In a bowl, combine brown sugar, granulated garlic, California chili powder, salt & pepper. Stir until all combined.
3. Cover the ribs in olive oil, spoon the dry rub over both sides of the ribs. You should have a really heavy hand with the dry rub, and press it into the ribs.
4. Set up a baking tray by folding foil into a steam trap for the ribs. Place ribs in the middle. Use one more sheet of foil and cover, then pinch all the sides together.
5. Place ribs in the oven for about 1.5 hours. Check every 30-45 minutes.
6. Make the sauce. In a bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, Yoshida’s, Worcestershire sauce, beer/wine & brown sugar.
7. After 1.5 hours, pull ribs out and let cool. Once they are cool, cut them into your preferred serving size. I do about 2 ribs each.
8. DRENCH the ribs in your sauce. Place back in the oven, uncovered for 10-20 min until all the way tender.
9. Enjoy!!
