this video is all about the mic teasebarbeque chicken sandwich it wasinspired by Ray Mac from Ray met kitchenand grill who did his own version of thebarbecue chicken sandwich and so wewanted to make our spin on the samesandwich it started getting your sweetonion you’re going to dice this up assmiley as you want depending on howthick you want the onion on the sandwichbut then once that’s done you’re gonnawant to saute them put a little oliveoil in your skillet and start of thoseonions we added some of our all-purposerub to it and we think that that addsgreat flavor to vegetables as well asmeat but anytime that cooking y’all wantto build up on the flavor so at eachstep you’re adding some flavor elementto it so if you guys are browning upthese onions the add to the all-purposerub cook it down get them nice and softand brown one thing to the point youwant to set them aside keep them warmbut just out of the way then we move onto the chicken and these chicken breastscame from a local farm Oakbridge farmswhich is you know local to this areabuying from local farms much as possibleis great these are some great lickingbreasts get these seasoned up or againwe’re using some more about all-purposerub it one world champion for chickenback in 2017 so always a great optionwhen cooking chicken to use theall-purpose rub you want to season upboth sides of it so you get the tops ofit they want to flip it over and getsome of the bottom seasoned as well sothat way as that heats cooking from thebottom there’s flavor everywhere so whenyou bite in you’re getting flavor on allsides of the meat so I’m going to getthat get a good get a good decent coaton there you don’t want it to be toothin but you want to get or too heavybut you know it’s the right mixture tomake sure the flavors are there but asyou do the bottom you want to come backagain and season the top in case anythat rub came off while you were usingyour glove to flip them over once it’sthere you don’t want to set it rub it inbut Pat it makesee that gets in there and then add themto your grill or smoker we’re doingthese on our pellet grill smoker andwe’ve got these at 350 degrees usually Iwould smoke my chicken at 225 but forthis want to cook them up and faster sowe get it on 350 and once you get themin there then we can move on to some theother elements like our special saucewhich is a mixture of some finalingredients you’re gonna start off withthree tablespoons of mayonnaise we useDuke’s because Dukes is best and thenyou know add in a half a cup of ourspicy barbecue sauce you’ll mix that inand add about another tablespoon of ourall-purpose rub and get that all mixedtogether set that aside in therefrigerator you can see all that flavorsitting in there move on to the baconbacon you can use any kind of bacon youwant get we’ve had these cooked in theoven with the broiler on about 450 andlet them get all nice and crispy and weset them aside as well now it’s time tomove on to the cheese this is hoopcheese which is the best cheese outthere you can tell we’ve been snackingon it because it’s partly missing andthen you need to slice those up as thinas you want them and at this point thechicken is done they’re at the internaltemperature of 165 degrees so now forthe finishing touch to them is going toadd a layer of big saucechicken and then we’re gonna cover themwith cheese as well so at this point Isaid the chicken is done so you don’tneed to leave them on there too longmuch longer at this point but you stillwant to get that final sauce glaze onthere and you cheese on there enoughtime to throw away the sauce and thecheese is either blend togetherlike said who cheese is the best cheese[Music]yes whatever works with youthatcheddar cheese is just amazingtwo slices for a breast which was a goodcovering for each of itthey’re pretty thinly sliced not superthin that little thick either givesenough timeyeah like I said learn with that saltthat’s blazin anyone take that bacongrease that was at the bottom of the panfrom the oven and start to add that tothe bun so for the bottom bun on theinside you want to put the grease andthen for the top bun you want to put onthe outside on the top outer portion ofit and they want to take these and putthem in the oven your oven is stillgonna be hot even though you’re notbroiling anymore and so putting the bunsback in there loud I’m the toast in thatbacon grease to help get them nice andtoasty time to build the sandwich we’regoing to put a layer of the specialsauce on the bottom bun feel free to puta lot on there or a little if you wantbut lots always good you want to putsome on the top bun as well and it’sjust continuing to build up on all theflavors throughout then once you get youknow enough of the sauce on there as youwant you want to move to the chicken getthe chicken breast on there lookinggreat with that cheese melted in andmixing with that sauce and rub didn’twant to get some of your bacon and layerit on there two slices of bacon each cutin half can give you you know fourstrips of bacon on the sandwich you knowarrange it however best fits on thesandwich for you and then you’re gonnawant to get some of that sauteed onionand put it on top and then once you getthe onions situated on there you want tomove and add some sauce it’s added alittle more barbecue flavor to the wholesandwich so you could tap it more someof that big sauce again if you want totype with the spicy sauce you could aswell for this one we went with the bigsauce I think when you get that bun onthere and for this one we’re gonna sliceit so well you can see how beautifullooks on the inside as well want to makesure you get a good view of the wholesandwich here so we slice this up andyou can see a lots of that heat escapeand it’s looking great the chicken looksgood the bacon looks good you see someof the glaze from the sauce in there thecheese is just it’s a yummy yummylooking sandwich and the bread is niceand golden toasted from that bacongrease big in the oven serving up howyou like we started with some fries sohere it is it was delicious and hope youmake it and enjoy yourself[Music]
