yo what’s up everybody it’s your boy JBfor JB’s barbecuing guns coming in toy’all today with another video today’svideo is gonna be mustard Fried Chickenthat’s right you heard it mustard FriedChicken and like many of y’all up untiltwo days ago I had never heard ofmustard Fried Chicken ever but I lookedat a video on YouTube I was like youknow what I want to try that so todaywe’re gonna do much the fried chickenbut we’re gonna do itjb style y’all know how it is alrighty’all so to start these wings of whatwe’re gonna do first like I said we’regonna do with jb style first what I’mgonna do is I’m gonna down some and someof these set of rings Cajun hot sauce ify’all never tried this stuff right herethis stuff is the absolute truth I’mtrying to tell you I love Louisiana Ilove Texas Pete but about two threeweeks ago my wife turned me on to thisstuff right here and I’ve been a fanever since this is the way to go righthere so what I’m going to do and I wantto go ahead and I’ve already washed mychicken off and everything and I’m gonnago ahead and dump these chicken wingswith this hot sauce now this hot sauceis I know it says Cajun style but it’snot very hot at all it’s got a reallyreally really really nice flavor to itokay so what we’re gonna do we’ll goahead and down stir stuff this there’shot sauce and then I’m gonna go ahead inand just mix it all up and I’m going toput some plastic wrap over and imma letit sit in the fridge for about hour anda half and then we’ll come back andwe’ll put all these ingredients in itand then when a floured up and we’llcooknow we don’t had these a chickenmarinating in this that Iran’s Cajun hotsauce for but I don’t have almost twohours then we’re going to go ahead andcut these chicken wings with ourseasoning and like I said we’re gonna dothis jb style so what we’re gonna do Ijust put some some regular kosher salton them you can measure to however youwant tono specific measurements going on righthere because however you feel like doingI’m gonna do some wood cleaning powderall right I did a good dose right therethen we’re gonna do some some garlicpowder right here go to a garlic powderand again how much you feel like doingno right or wrong to itjust coating real good and we’re gonnado some of some black pepper kind ofsome kind of some coarse black pepperyou know well you can do ground blackpepperit’s all up to you I just I just likethe coarse black pepper all right that’spretty goodalright now what we’re going to do isput some of this a mesquite rub in therethis is really really really really goodI’m chicken y’all I’m telling you I needto try it what does a grill mates withski group it’s real good you know reallygood heart just go ahead and don’t staredown like that and over here and it’sthis cast-iron pot right here we got ourgrease in here got some good old rest ofoil will let that come up to temperatureall right now what we’re doing we justgo ahead and you all look a good mixwhile we waiting on our grease over hereto get hotI just regular vegetable oil on youand that smells good that 70 grew up onMount in it just do it something tochicken I look all right now while we’rewaiting on these grease over here to gethot we’ll go ahead and let these allthis flavor melt into this chicken righthere but one thing I did off camerabefore I started filming again but uh Igot my flour ready and a kind of aplastic bag like this and how would I beable to push them off some kosher saltand some black pepper in I’m justkeeping it basic since we got all theflavor right here on the chicken now forthe store or the show yeah before we doanything else we’re going to go aheadand coat this chicken down with a gooddose of French’s yellow mustard justplain yellow mustard and I guess you canuse Dijon mustard and all that stufflike that but we’re gonna keep it simplesimple usually ends up the best so we’llgo ahead and just dance it down likethat and say I’ve never tried thisbefore you also will see how it comesout but that thing is gonna be prettygood so just go ahead and give that agood mix right there no right or wrongway to do it you know I could have putthe mustard on the first but I say noright or wrong way to do it so we’lljust go ahead and get this all mixed upwhile I are greased over here is stillgetting hot so that smells good[Music]some of y’all this little trick that youcan tell when your grease is ready toput stuff in now you can get me athermometer and stick it in there andmeasure it but if you old-school like methe way that I was taught that you takejust a little pinch of flour and youdrizzle it in there and if you see itstarted to do that right there then it’sready oh yeah now we’re gonna go aheadand get this chicken coated in its flourmr. right here now I probably put aboutmaybe five or six out of time you knowjust to make them cook evenly[Music]we got coded up now we’ll just take themout here one by onealright shake it off a little bit nowyou want to stick it in there slowlyokay you just don’t want to drop it inthere cuz your might splash up on sowhat you wanna do is you just kind ofwant to drizzle it down in there likethat till you hear star citizen and thenease it down gently just like thatalright now you see how it’s starting tobubble now putting this coat of chickenin there it’s going to bring thetemperature down a little bit don’tworry about thatdon’t go cutting the heat up and allthis stuff just be patientso we’ll go ahead and and drop the restof these chicken wings in therethen I’ll see y’all when they are alldone and then we’ll be with the donuttaste it might not know okay now somepeople like to take the monitor stick itin the chicken and all that time crapwhat’d I just sayif you old school like I am why did youknow that your chicken is done when yousee the way that is floating up at thetop the chicken will float up to the topwinning it done it’ll tell you when it’sdoneso let’s go ahead and take a couplepieces out of here and see how they looknice golden-brown okay young race trickylooking then you go ahead and put thisover here all right now we’ll go aheadand take the recipes out of hereand I’ll go ahead and finish up yourchicken and then we’ll come back allright y’all then we’ll finish cookingall the chicken I’m gonna tell y’all nowI tasted some of the crumbs I cheatedjust a little bitit is not lacking in flavor oh I’mtelling to you now but I’m gonna goahead right now and dive into one ofthese wings I’m doing talking let’s justget into it I’m doing different Tillisjuice I’m going to take a crunch bite I[Music]don’t say it’s definitely not lacking inflavor the mustard you can’t reallytaste the mustard but what you can tellyou is this your mustardalong with those spices makes kind oflike a better before you put it in theflour and that’s where all the flavor iscoming from and that batter likeconsistency from the mustard and thespices and the flour all mixed togetherthis is really really good it’s reallyreally juicy I’m trying to tell you allnow this is the way to go I’m impressedbut as always you know ma’am we do itJB’s way and so that’s all I can reallysay y’all give it a try you can do itthe way to the day that I did it or youcan do it your own way I’m trying totell you now this is the way to go righthere there’s a lot of flavor in this onea
