Homemade Alabama White Sauce. #bbqsauce #whitesauce #bbqbuddha #homemade

4 cups mayo
1 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1 cup apple juice
4 tsp creole or spicy mustard
4 tsp horseradish
4 tsp black pepper
4 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp salt
1 tsp cayenne pepper

Add to a bowl and whisk together.
Put in the fridge for 1/2 hour to an hour.
Add sugar to taste to cut the acidity.
Jar it up and enjoy!

hey what’s up everybody Johnny mags herefrom Johnny mags barbecue today it israining here in New Hampshire so I amgoing to make an Alabama white sauce Igot this idea from a good friend raySheehan of BBQ Buddha and the release ofhis new cookbook so we’re going to runoff of his recipe and got a slightlittle variations here in there whatingredients because of what I could findin the stores but it’s going to bepretty damn close so stick around we’llbe right back all right guys here we gowe’re doing the Alabama white sauce nowin Alabama white sausage it’s a creamywhite sauce with it’s got a Tang in apeppery flavor to it with a hint ofsweetness usually made for you know achicken but you can use it on a varietyof other things you know such as grilledor smoked foods poultry fish porkvegetables you could use it fordifferent pasta salads coleslaw if youlike but it’s a real easy recipe nowthat I’m making a double batch so normalbatch will make three and a half cups soI’m doubling everything up because Ihave another idea to video to do withthis sauce so right now we’re startingwith four cups of mayonnaisewe have one in the third cups of applecider vinegar one cup of apple of applejuicefour teaspoons of creole mustard which Ididn’t have creole mustard so I’m goingwith a regular you know spicy delimustard four tablespoons of horseradishwhich I actually couldn’t find on thehorseradish so I have a horseradishsauce so it’s gonna be a littledifferent but pretty darn close fourtablespoons of black pepper fourteaspoons of lemon juice 2 teaspoons ofsalt and one teaspoon of cayenne pepperonce we have all that in thereit’s just gonna be a simple whiskeverything togetherI think that’s pretty good[Music]yeah I look like a good nice consistencyit’s not it’s not thick but you knowjust enough to get a little bit offlavor and give this a little taste ohthat’s nicethat’s real nice little vinegary but youdo get that sweetness so now once it’sall mixed up I’m gonna put it in thefridge let it chill for about a halfhour to an hour then it should thickenup a little bit and we’ll be ready to goso watches all that done there I’llbring it on backall right folks were back do you let theAlabama white sauce chill for a littlebit and I did wind up adding some sugarthere was too much of a tang with thewith the vinegar vinegar Tang so I addedsome sugar to sweeten it up to tastedon’t exactly know how much but add somesugar to taste so what we’re gonna do isbottle it up nowjar it up whatever you want to call itand we’ll be good to golike we’re gonna need another dinneryeah all rightdoes reason enough to fightand there we have it folksnice easy Alabama white sauce thank youfor watching please subscribe hit thathit that notification bell and Iappreciate yourself thanks for watching
