EASY SPICY BUTTERY CHICKEN LEGS / GRILLED

Minimal ingredients needed.
Easy to make. Beginners friendly recipe.
The scent of this chicken cooking will have your mouth watering.
If you don’t have an oven, shallow fry it in a pan with oil + butter.

(Recipe for 6 legs)
•Soak 8-10 dry Kashmiri red chillies without stem in warm water for 20-30 mins.

•Clean the chicken, remove the skin and make slits on them so the marinade seeps in well.

•Marinate it for 30 mins with juice of one lemon, salt & some freshly ground pepper.

•Make a smooth paste out of: the soaked chillies, 8 garlic cloves, a small piece ginger, one large chopped onion. Add 3 tbsp tomato ketchup to this marinade. Marinate it on the chicken and let it sit for atleast 1 hour.

•Line a baking tray thickly with foil. (preferably a double layer).

•Slice thin slices of butter and place each chicken leg over it.

•Add a thin slice of butter on top of each leg too.

•In a preheated oven, place the tray in the top most rack so you get a nice char. Grill it for 8-10 mins each side on 250 degrees.

•Serve with: Hummus, Pita bread, green salad
