BBQ Grilled Chicken Skewers Recipe:
Ingredients for Grilled Chicken/Shish Kebabs/Skewers:
Chicken Breast 1000g or 1 kg. (cut in 2 inches of cubes)
Yogurt ¼ cup
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Red Chilli powder 1-2 tsp (Own Preference)
Coriander powder1 tbsp
Cumin powder- 1 tbsp
Garam masala powder ½ tbsp
Salt 1 tsp or to taste
Black salt 1 tsp
Mango powder 1 tsp
Paprika powder 1 tbsp
Ginger Paste 1 ½ tbsp
Garlic Paste ½ tbsp
Orange food color ¼ tsp
Olive oil 6 tbsp
1 Lime Juice (3 to 4 tbsp)
Green Bell pepper 1(cut in 2 inches of cubes)
Red Bell Pepper 1(cut in 2 inches of cubes)
Grape Tomatoes 15 to 20 or Roma tomatoes 4 to 6 (cut it 2 inches of cubes)
1-2 Onions (cut in 2 inches of cubes)
Preparation:
Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients above. Gently coat the chicken with the marinade. Set aside for an hour in the refrigerator.
Place bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes on a side and marinate them with the marinated chicken just before grilling.
Place the marinated chicken on skewers (Shashlik sticks).
Preheat the BBQ grill at 350°- 400° F.
Put it on the rotisserie. Maintain the grill temperature at 400°.
Close the lid for 25-30 minutes.
Turn on the rotisserie burner for five minutes to caramelize the skewers.
Brush olive oil once or twice on each side of the skewers.
Once done, serve it with mint sauce, rice and Naan. Enjoy!
