This is a SIMPLE recipe, perfect for those who are Instant Pot beginners (or anyone looking for a quick easy, no fuss meal). Forget to thaw your chicken, no problem! You can put FROZEN Chicken breasts in the instant pot and still get amazing moist chicken.
✨Instructions✨
*2 large chicken breast
*1 cup broth or water
*Add 1/4 cup bbq sauce
*10 mins high pressure
*Natural pressure release
*Shred chicken
*turn on sauté
*remove some excess liquid
*add 1/4-1/2 cup bbq sauce
*warm in instant pot on sauté to desired consistency
**cook time does shouldn’t need to change if you have thawed or frozen chicken. The thickness of the breasts and the amount of chicken is what determines cook time. (More chicken/thicker = more time)**

hey guys it’s Kim and I’m back foranother instant pot video and todaywe’re making pulled barbecue chicken inthe instant pot so I have two prettylarge chicken breasts at the bottom ofthe instant pot right now with a littlebit of oil I’m just mostly doing this toheat up the instant pot so it comes topressure quicker but I’m going to tossin about a cup of broth and I just haveit in this container because it’sleftover from a recipe I used yesterdayand then I’m only gonna put about aquarter cup of barbecue sauce in herebecause mostly what this is doing isjust to cook the chicken I’m gonna takeout the chicken and shred it and thenadd in some more barbecue sauce at theend but I will put just a little bit onthe top of each one probably more than aquarter cup but you get the idea andthen that is it I’m gonna pop the lid on[Applause][Music]manual for 10 minutes 10 minutes for anatural release it’s already been 2minutes but once it hits 10 I’ll openthe valve but for now we’ll just wait soit took a little under than 10 minutesfor the pressure to release naturallyI’m just gonna open it up and make sureyou stand back because there is gonna bea lot of steam even though the pressurehas been released but everything looksgood it should be done and ready toshred the chicken shredded really easilyjust using two forks now I’m just takinga ladle and scooping out some of theexcess liquid if you left all of thisliquid in it would be way too watery tomake sandwiches but once you get thedesired amount out then put the rest ofthe chicken back in and add yourbarbecue sauce I added about probably ahalf a cup maybe a quarter a cup ofbarbecue sauce and put it on saute andmade sure everything was nice and warmand combined you can just keep addingthe barbecue sauce andtoilets seems to be the rightconsistency for what you like yourbarbeque sandwiches as so this turnedout really good and it was just a simplequick meal that my whole family enjoyedI hope you liked this video pleaseconsider subscribing if you haven’talready and give this a big thumbs updown below it helps my channel out a lotthanks guys bye
