The Flavor Freaks Shane Draper and Dylan Lipe are back in the BBQ Pro Shop Test Kitchen to show you how to make mouthwatering steak sandwiches, using wagyu skirt steak from Hassell Cattle Company. Using the rubs and seasonings from https://www.bbqproshop.com Shane and Dylan put together a delicious skirt steak sandwich that’s easy to make yourself!
To get started, the Pit Masters put on a base coat of Boars Night Out White Lightning Double Garlic Butter to give the steak a nice balanced flavor and have those butter buds melt into the meat. Next, they weren’t afraid to go heavy on the rub with another layer of Pork Mafia’s Bistechmafia. This liberal coating of rubs ensures you get a nice crispy crust while keeping the meat juicy and rare on the inside.
Using the M1 Grill from M Grills, the wagyu beef is seared with the coals brought up close right underneath the steak. The Pit Masters also cooked a variety of vegetables lightly coated with Boars Night Out White Lightning Double Garlic butter in a cast iron skillet on the grill soaking them in butter, beef stock, and a little bit of Duke’s Mayonnaise.
Once the wagyu beef is done, they cut the skirt steak into thin slices and pair them with the sautéed vegetables on an Italian multi-grain loaf bread. All that’s left to do is enjoy all those flavors from the double garlic butter and Pork Mafia bistechmafia rubs! This sandwich makes the perfect lunchtime cookout that the whole family will enjoy.
