[Music]today I’m cooking with Linda we’restarting chashu which is also known asChinese roast pork this recipe requirestwo days because the pork has tomarinate for 24 hours the first step isto mince six cloves of garlic now we’regoing to start the marinade we mix 1/2cup of white sugar 4 teaspoons of saltone teaspoon of five-spice powder 1/2teaspoon of white pepper one teaspoon ofsesame oil 2 tablespoons of Chinese ricewine three tablespoons of soy sauce twotablespoons of hoisin sauce fourteaspoons of molasses and dix cloves ofminced garlicnow we add three pounds of pork shoulderinto the bowl now we combine themarinade with the pork and let it sitfor 24 hours now that the pork has beenmarinating for 24 hours it’s time tocook the pork first we preheat the ovento 400 degrees then we get two bakingsheets and lined them with foil then weplace two metal baking racks on eachpand lastly we place the pork on thetray and bake for 15 minutes after thepork has been baking for 15 minutes webrush it with leftover marinade and letit cook for another 15 minutes[Music]now that we finished cooking the pork weserve it over rice if you liked thisvideo watch these videos and remember tosubscribe like and comment
