INGREDIENTS
• Beef plate ribs
• Olive oil (or preferred binder)
• Ben’s Heffer Dust
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat your REC TEC to 250ÂşF.
2. If you prefer, remove silver skin membrane from back of ribs using a dry paper towel.
3. Cover ribs with light layer of olive oil.
4. Season on all sides with Ben’s Heffer Dust.
5. Place on REC TEC bone-side down.
6. Probe for tenderness once ribs reach an internal temperature of 200ÂşF – 205ÂşF.
7. Remove from REC TEC. Let rest for minimum of 15 minutes. Slice & enjoy!

you want to cook the easiest mostdelicious beef ribs ever we’re gonnacook them we’re gonna smoke them they’regonna be delicious let’s get smoking[Music]hey everybody thank you so much forjoining us we really do appreciate ittoday we’re gonna do beef smoked ribs itcouldn’t be easier now these are beefplate ribs they’re not the beef shortribs they’re not the bone that’s cut offof the back of a prime rib that you mayget at the grocery store that they’repassing off as beef ribs these arespecifically called beef plate ribs theycome in three to four bones we had toorder these from our local butcher youmay not be able to find these at yourlocal grocery store these are speciallycut for this application we’re gonnacook them we’re gonna smoke themdeliciously so they’re savory they’resmoky and they’re tenderSST the three descriptor words that Ialways like describing my food with sexSSTswe’re gonna add sexy because this isgoing to impress your friends it’s gonnabe super sexy at the end I promise youyou’re gonna want to look at this andnot me huh am i right all right we’regonna start by taking one of thesemembranes off we’re gonna show you bothways I’ve cooked them with the membraneI’ve cooked them without the membraneyou know some folks swear that if youleave the membrane on there they’re alittle bit more juicier and they themembrane helps to hold the meat togetheryeah we’ll see we’re taking the membraneoff of just one of these we’re cookingtoo sometimes you’ll get lucky you’llroll the dice and you’ll get that entirething to come off in one no membrane wetook it off you can still see themembrane right there okay next thingwe’ll do is we’ll add a little bit ofbinder you can add mustard you can domolasses you can do Duke’s mayonnaise ifyou want this is just gonna help theoutside of that meat be just a littlebit more sticky and tacky so ourdelicious bins Heffer dust sticks to itno the binder does not affect the tastein any way you know it’s just gonna cookoff so we’ll season season hi guys thatway it spreads out a lot more evenlysure it’s good to goflip them over get them on the otherside now if you’ve got some large piecesof fat just hanging off of this thingyou know you can go ahead and take themoff if you wanted tothat looks good looks good looking allright we’re not done there we’re gonnahitlook at that marbling right thereabsolutely beautiful that’s what’s gonnagive you that flavor we’re gonna hit allsides we’re gonna give a great beefytaste that garlic salt and pepper onionpowder it’s gonna be really super savoryit’s gonna flavor these thingsabsolutely deliciously again we’re gonnado 250 degrees you can cook them at 225if you want to they’re gonna take alittle bit longer at the seven to eighthour mark we wanted about a six hourcook so we decided to turn the Aarti 700at 250 degrees today we’re gonna smokethese for about 6 hours to the probetinder or aka about two hundred to twohundred five degrees internally[Music]we’re gonna put these bone side downmake sure that you put them bone sidedown you always want to put bone sidetowards the heat sourcehey what you doing buddy sup dudechecking out the rec tech girls app I’mmonitoring butcher shop he hookedit Oh turn that light on Oh where’d youseasoning with this stuff the onlyseasoning that you seasoned beef withbaby well when you’re done with thismake sure you come get some time hascome we’ve pulled these bad boys off ofthe arty 700 they were rolling at 250degrees for about six and a half hoursman they are tender and juicy again wechecked them with our meat probethermometer they are probe tender so weknow that they are done tired of doingall of the normal stuff the hamburgersthe chicken breasts the pork chops getyourself some beef ribs you’re gonna beable to knock it out the park the wreckTex gonna do all the job for you thewreck Tech is gonna do all the hard workfor you I promise you that below youwant me to cut into these bad boys orwhat here wasput him on the RT 700 I walked away I’vegot on with my day I got things done Iwas productive I came back out here sixand a half hours later I checked himwith my meat probe easy peasy lemonsqueezy now is the time I’ve beenwaiting for time to eat and taste thesebad boys but again that Benz heifer dustgave it some great color it’s got somebeautiful bark on it man here we go babyoh my god it’s so savory and deliciouslysmoky the garlic and the onion powderand the paprika are just coming out ofthis thing the salt is activating thosebeef molecules and it’s so beefy andtalked about tinder
