3 cups Black Sticky Rice បាយដំណើម៣កែវ(៣០០g)
2 Tablespoons sugar ស្ករ២ស្លាមព្រាបាយ
1/2 teaspoon salt អំបិលកន្លះស្លាបព្រាកាហ្វេ
1 cup coconut milk ខ្ទិះដង១កែវ
1/2 cup grated coconut ដងកោសកន្លះកែវ
1 cup water ទឺក១កែវ

5 quarter chicken legs ភ្លៅមាន់៥
6 Tablespoons fish sauce ទឹកត្រី៦ស្លាបព្រាបាយ
4 Tablespoon palm sugar or regular sugar ស្ករត្នោក៤ស្លាបព្រាបាយ
4 Tablespoons oyster sauce ទឺកខ្យង៤ស្លាបព្រាបាយ
4 Tablespoons water ទឹក៤ស្លាបព្រាបាយ
2 Tablespoons lemon juice ទឺកក្រូចឆ្មា២ស្លាបព្រាបាយ
1 Tablespoon chicken powder ម៉្សៅសូប់មាន់១ស្លាបព្រាបាយ
4 cloves garlic ខ្ទឺមស៤ផ្លែ

hi everybody welcome to my channelcooking with elisa if this is your firsttime herewelcome today i will be making steamedblack sticky rice withgrilled chicken lake and if you want tolearn how to make thisplease continue watching first we aregoing to startby cleaning and rinsing the black stickyriceyou want to rinse it three times and i’mcleaning the rice underwarm water and i’m going to soak thisovernight for at least8 hours and by soaking overnighti will make the rice a little bit moresofterthis is rice is a little bit more hotterthan the regular white oneso i prefer to soak it overnightthe next day i pour in my bamboosteamer and if you don’t have one likethis a regular one would dowhen the water come to a boil add thesteamed rice on topand cover it with a lid and let thiscookfor about 30 minutes andi cook my rice on medium high heatand just let that sit aside while yourrice iscooking so now we’re going to clean andcut the chicken[Music]i’m cutting them in four slashes thiswill help the sauceget inside the meat and also make thechickena little bit more moist[Music]i’m using five quarter leg if you don’thave a quarter legyou can use thigh or chicken wingswhatever part of chicken you have thesauce will make it taste goodnow we are ready to make the saucewe’re going to start with fish sauceoyster saucepalm sugar regular water lemon or limegreen onions chicken powder garlicand chili we’re going to startby adding the water into the bowland then follow with the fish saucethen the oyster sauce and thenadd in the chicken powderpalm sugar if you don’t have palm sugarregular sugar will work tooand then give it a stirand then we’re going to cut the greenonionsi’m using three stem of the green onionthe green and give it a very nice flavorto the chickensit’s made the chicken little bit sweetand the sauce is very delicious it’smake the chicken moist give it a reallynice glazeit has a taste of like saltinessand sweetness and also citrusokay so now we’re going to smash andmince the garlici like to add a lot of garlic when imarinate my meatit make the meat taste betterand also garlic is good for you too okaysoadd in the garlic and then you’re goingtoadd in the lemon juice or lime whateveryou havei didn’t put a lot i use about twotablespoons because you don’t wantto make it sour you just want the citrustaste a little bit and the smallsmall side and you want to wear a glovebecauseum you don’t want to be accidentallytouching your hand with itso the gloves will help you preventfrom doing that okay now we are ready tomarinate the meatstir it first before you marinate itmake sure you give it a gooddecent amount to itand you can keep half of the sauce formarinade and half fordipping it later if you want to dipyour chicken yes make sure you give it agood massageokay and then i’m taking a twofor the spicy one and leaving three formy kidswho does not reallylike to be spicy so i’m gonna adda little bit more sauce to it and giveit a nice massage and then add inthe chili and again i’m using about 10chilibut this wasn’t very spicy becauseeverything is going to fall out when youcook itokay so now i’m cooking mine in the ovenyou can put this on the grilland you want to cook this on low heat ihave myoven on 185degrees okay you want cook on lowbecause if not the chicken is gonna burnbecause of the sugarand i cook this for 30 minutes and thenafter 30 minutes i pull it out and iadd in more sauce to it so keep yourmeatmoist so it won’t be dry and also givemore flavor to your chickenand then after that ilet it cook for another about 10 minutesbefore iflip it and i cook the side firstinstead of the skinbecause the skin it tends to getburned fast and i don’t want my skinto get burned sohere it is um 10 minutes laterand then i went ahead and flip itthis you know see the chicken how moistit isyou want to cook the skin last becauselike i sayit will just the skin will get burnedand you cook ityou know um firstand then just go ahead and flip thatand look at all that juice and umthe juice help you know make um create asteamand then also keep it you know make yourchicken more moistand then cook that for another30 minutes so so while we’re waiting onthe chicken to cookwe’re going to cook the rice and there ihave one cup of coconut milkand then half a cup of grated coconut soour rice is going to becoconut it can be very nutty anddelicious so i added some sugarand then the result so i have a nicebalance ofsweetness coconut and a little bit saltyand then waterto make your rice more softand stir it well and then we’re going tocook this on the stoveon medium heat and then when it comes toa boilyou’re going to let it cook five minutesor soand then you’re going to add in thecooked steamed riceso this will help your rice to becomemore softyou know by steaming it and then cookingitand then we’re going to cook this untilall the coconut all the liquid evaporateand it will become you know a little bitdry and thenonce after that you’re going toturn off your heat your stoveand you’re going to cover it and let itsit for another 30 minutes soso this will give you um your rice tocook moreso then it becomes more soft okayso but that’s it aside so by then yourchickenit should be ready and there you goand then you’re going to add more sauceon top to make it morejuicy so now we’re donewe’re going to give it a nicepresentation by putting a trayand we’re going to serve it with lettuceon the side cucumbersand different type of mints okaydoesn’t that look awesome yeahawesome and delicious and then if
