In this recipe, we show you how to make healthy and nutritious vegan BBQ Pork Buns! The star ingredient for the vegan char siu filling is lion head mushrooms. We specifically picked this variety of mushrooms since they taste the meatiest. We also added carrot puree for some colour as well as Vitamin A! hey everyone welcome to Delia V lightstoday we are making vegan chassis partsthese chassis bands are not only cutethey are also soft and flavorful theyremind us of a big chasm and served atdim sum restaurants furthermore ourversion of Charles Reubens incorporatescarrots in a bread dough making this amore nutritious alternative is perfectfor picky eaters let’s begin by makingthe mushroom castle feeling we are usingfrozen Lionhead mushrooms that we havethought first chop the mushrooms intosmall pieces then in a frying pan onmedium heat add in some oil[Music]when the pan is hot put in some mincedgarlic ginger and onion you can blendthem together until they form a paste ifyou don’t want to bite into pieces ofonions[Music]fry them until they’re golden brown thenadd in the mushrooms[Music]car in some vegetarian chassis sauce andstir to combine[Music]similar mushrooms for five minutes tolet them absorb the flavors then setaside to cool now let’s make the breaddough in a bowl of a stand mixer combinebread flour and salt then add in sugarinstant dry yeast water oil and carrotpuree you can use pumpkin or sweetpotato puree if you like[Music]mix the ingredients on those feet firstto develop at all[Music]then slowly increase the speed to mediumand meet for 10 to 15 minutes until thedough is smooth and pliable[Music]Brown the dough into a bowl and coverwith a damp cloth[Music]then the ferment for an hour or twodouble in size at room temperature[Music]suggested or by panting it[Music]send the dough onto the tabletop andshape it into a ball[Music]who are now divided into smallerportions divide the dough into half andput one of the halves in the fridge sothat it doesn’t over ferment[Music]roll the other half into a long rope anddivide it into 8 portionsyou can weigh them if you like but weare using a rough edge here[Music]shape and round each piece into a balland let them rest for 10 minutes for thegluten to relax[Music]then using a rolling pin roll the doughstarting from the center to the edgesbut the center is slightly thicker thanthe edgessweep the door around such that the sitethat was on the table is now facingupwards then fill the dough with aheaping tablespoon of char siew feeling[Music]teams together opposite ends of the dooruntil the feeling is wrapped inside[Music]using the side of your palms gentlyshape the buns into a round shape repeatfor the rest of the doorlet the bands rise for 30 minutes thenuse a sharp scissors to make incisionson the band to make the years put sesameseeds for the eyes[Music]after that rush the band carefullycoconut cream[Music]take them for 12 minutes or until theyare golden brownand there you have it super cute andfluffy barbeque mushroom buns that canbe enjoyed by your whole family[Music]thank you for watching if you like thisvideo do give us a thumbs up andsubscribe to our channel it will reallymean a lot to us don’t forget to clickthe notification bar button as well soyou won’t miss out on any new videoshave an awesome day bye[Music]
