How to make barbecue sauce (spicy)

Ingredients:
1/2 c. dark roast brewed coffee
1/2 c. soy sauce
2 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp prepared mustard
2 tbsp chili powder
1/2 onion minced
156 ml tomato paste
1 tbsp ground cumin
1 tsp thyme leaves
1 c. organic vegetable or chicken broth
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper or 1 tbsp hot sauce
8-10 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp flour
4-6 bay leaves

Method:
1) wash hands. Minced garlic and onions, set aside. In a small bowl dissolve the flour with the broth.
2) gather all ingredients, cooking utensil, small whisk and sauce pot.
3) preheat sauce pot to medium low heat. Add oil, and cook for 2-3 mins the onions, add garlic and cook for 1 min.
4) Add all the ingredients, mix, and slowly bring up to a simmer. Cook for 15-20 mins. Adjust to taste with a little ground black pepper, no salt needed as the soy sauce has salt. If it is to spicy, add more brown sugar or honey. If it is to thick add some water to thin it down. The bbq sauce can be kept in the fridge for up to 1 year, in a glass jar.
