Recipe:
Ingredients :
Chicken drumsticks (skinless) – 1 kg
Coriander – ½ bundle
Mint – ¼ bundle
Spring onion greens – 50 g
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Green chillies 6 pcs
Yoghurt/Dahi – 2 tbsp
Vegetable oil – 50 ml
Jeera/cumin powder – 1 tbsp
Chaat masala – ½ tbsp
Pepper – to taste
Salt – to taste
Method :
1. Combine the coriander, mint, spring onions, ginger garlic paste, green chillies, yoghurt, oil, jeera powder, chaat masala and blend to a thick paste
2. Score the chicken drumsticks on both sides
3. Season them with salt and pepper
4. Marinate with the paste that was made earlier ( preferably keep aside for 20 mins to an hour )
5. Brush a hot pan with oil
6. Sear the chicken drumsticks on both sides till you get a nice golden brown colour
7. Finish cooking in the oven @180 C for 10 – 15 mins ( depending on the size of the drumsticks )
8. Finish off with a drizzle of melted butter
