BBQ Sauce Recipes

Ribs! Delicious ribs grilled without bbq sauce. Great for charcoal or gas grills!

Welcome to the Root of All Broth. This is the show we talk about the inspirations behind the foods that we cook. This wee we are celebrating the fourth of July with my hubby’s rib recipe. If you are looking for a tasty rib recipe without using bbq sauce, this is the recipe for you!
We started to gear up for the holiday with our baked bean recipe and now you can add this simple rib recipe. We also included an old fashion recipe for you to enjoy while you wait for your coals to heat up.

Marinade for Ribs:
Italian Dressing
Worcestershire Sauce
Cavender’s Greek Seasoning
Lowery’s Seasoning Salt

Directions:

1. Light charcoal until coals are grey and hot (We use Kingsford Match-light)
2. Marinate meat for 30 -45 mins or longer (save marinade for basting)
2. Spread coals on one half of grill
3. Place marinated meat bone side down onto the grill on indirect heat (side without coals)
4. After 10 minutes, flip ribs onto meat-side and cook for 5 minutes
5. Flip ribs back to bone-side and baste with marinade
6. Continue to follow this pattern until 45 minutes has elapse or ribs are done. (Cooking times are approximate and may need to be adjusted depending on heat and rib size)
7. Enjoy!
