not gonna do pulled pork in acrock pot ever again because it has thatweird texture not barbecue II know thesimple basic technique to making awesomeamazing everybody will rave about pulledpork in today’s video it’s going to beamazingwhat I wanted to talk to you guys abouttoday is out here in Southern Californiathere’s a little home business mama popbusiness husband-and-wife team and theyhave perfected what they claim is theperfect rub in the perfect barbecuesauce so we started chatting and theywere nice enough to donate bunch of alsobarbecue sauce and they use real glassbottles which I really like not veryconducive for shipping because of theweight but I like an old-school glassbottle so it’s KJ’s barbecue sauce let’sput that website on the screen KJ’sbarbecue sauce comm check them out I’mexcited to give this this is theoriginal barbecue sauce we’re gonna betrying today we’re also going to betrying the KJ’s barbecue sauce flaminhot and apparently there’s ghost pepperbarbecue sauce in research anddevelopment right now but we’ll talkabout that there they also gave me someKJ’s barbecue sauce rub so I’m gonna usethis rub on the pulled pork we got a bigold butt at Costco that looks like thisso I’m gonna use wish to sir whisk yousure wish mr. this rub rub down this bigol but get it out on the pit barrelcooker first things first we’re gonnause some of this and this is gonna bekind of our little binder if you willit’s not 100% necessary but I like thatextra salty flavor that it gives it andthen we’re using our brand-new KJ’sbarbecue sauce rub and this is a bigpiece of meat so feel free whetheryou’re doing this in the oven on a BBQ agastro whatever fairly liberal amountwe’re gonna flip it over I didn’t evenhave to do any trimming leave that onthere that will render downwe’re gonna go fat side down in the pitbearcooker and when we throw this down onthe barbecue this is gonna be unwrappedat this point fat side down and we’regonna bring it to an internal of 165degrees and I’m gonna insert mythermometer into the biggest mediasparked and I’m gonna just let this runfor hours until it gets to 165 internalgot my temperature probe I could havehad it even a little more rub rightthere but that’s okay we’re gonna add alittle more later but we’re ready to goout on the pit barrel cooker so I’veused that weber kettle to make thispulled pork a bunch of times it’sfantastic but I love the ease of the pitbarrel cooker I love the flavors that itprovides they’re an amazing companyhusband-and-wife company they donatedthis pit barrel cooker to the channel along time ago and I’ve used it I’ve madea ton of videos and I just really reallyadmire them we got our probe checkingthe temperature of the pit barrel we’regoing to cover it and we’ll be back in acouple of the wholething oh yeah now you’re gonna put it inour middle ten yeah okay and then we’llgo inside and we’ll add the secretingredients okay so we have more rub wehave apple juicewe have Kerrygold to rehash you saw theworst dessert you saw the rub put it onthere smoked it to 165 now we’re pullingit now baby’s doing knobs of butterapple juice more rub we got that littledisposable metal tin babes putting it inthe little crevices and creases andflaps and everything like that and youdidn’t even want to do Hawaiian rollstonight no I decided we’re gonna try itwith garlic bread as the sandwich soyou’re gonna make a pulled pork garlicbreadbarbecue sauce mm-hmm spicy sandwich soyou bought some apple juice mm-hmm heyso you’re gonna apple juice it which isgonna kind of steam it in apple juice inthe foil more rough bit more rubhopefully everybody’s watching andthey’re gonna find out what kind ofgoodies they can get okay that’s goodokay and then you got to wrap it tightand strong long down to get the frictionon so ladymate I can’t sing anymore Imight get a copyright strike Oh what wasthatyeah and then I put the the the pitbarrel only works when you put that backin yeah so you got to put
