Hi everyone! Today we’ll be showing you how to make homemade Cambodian style beef jerky. Our beef jerky recipe is perfectly seasoned with a slight kick from the ground chili pepper. Cambodian beef jerky is typically made in large batches and stored in the freezer for months! This easy and quick beef jerky recipe is simple and pairs well with white rice for the perfect meal at any time of the day.
INGREDIENTS!
19lbs of boneless beef chuck roast
5 tablespoons of ground red chili (add as much or as little as you like)
5 tablespoons of black pepper
5 tablespoons of salt
5 tablespoons of oyster sauce
Crushed 2 garlic bulbs 2 small pieces of ginger
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of chicken bouillon
1. Cut meat into 1 inch thick slices ( we prefer to cut out most of the fat)
2. Add in all seasonings and mix
3. Marinate the beef for at least 30 minutes to an hour
4. Lay it flat and Let air dry in a mesh hanging net (Available at most Asian supermarkets, amazon, or ebay!)
5. Let air dry for 2 days until dried, if not let it dry longer!
6. Store leftover beef jerky in the freezer
7. Cook the beef jerky in your preference and enjoy with a bowl of white rice!
HOW TO COOK!
Air Fryer:
390 for 20 minutes
Small oven:
350 for 20 minutes
In a pan:
1/2 cup of oil fry on medium heat 10 minutes
