[Music]I’ve put a turbo charge on this classicslow-cooked dish so you can make it in15 minutes so what I wanted to do was areally nice sort of British stylebarbecue sauce these beans in the tinsare really good they’re cooked they’reoften cooked in a sort of fragrant brothI’m just gonna wash them to get rid ofthat starchy sort of juice now over hereI’ve got a hot panwe just want two tablespoons of oliveoil going into that pan and what I wantto do my one criticism two beans isthere a bit that study and squashy andwhat you can do and what I want to do isif you put it in a screaming hot panthey almost pop like popcorn so that’sgetting nice and hot we go in with ourbeans give them a little shake up trynot to move them too much just give thema little shake and just let them startpopping and getting crispy on that sidenow barbecue sauce there’s so manyrecipes but I’m gonna do a nice basicsauce ketchup about two tablespoonsgoing into that pan Tabasco as much asyou dare English mustard about hinkteaspoon goes in brown sauce veryBritish two tablespoons ofWorcestershire sauce and about ateaspoon of honey mix those barbecuesauce flavors in there and half a jarsort of about 300 mils of passatagoes in I’m gonna add cheese but youdon’t have to put loads in just 40 gramsof cheddar Wackness in the oven overhere I’ve got two beautiful 250 gramssirloin steaks these two states will bemore than enough for four people the wayI’m gonna cook it okay of course with15-minute meals what I want to do iskeep all the calories and nutrition incheck I’m gonna remove this fat now ofcourse by taking that off we’veliterally reduced you know the sat fatby half in one fell swoop so that’s agood little trick but I’m not justtaking away flavor I’m gonna put flavourback so what I want to do is seasonthese beautiful steaksCinci salt there some pepper I’ve gotsome dried thyme sweet paprika here youcould use a smoked if you want but Ifeel like I’ve already got smoke goingon over herethen just move the steaks around likethat we’re going to cook this steak injust a tablespoon of olive oil so let’shave a look at our baked beans in hereyes bubbling away let’s turn the beefand as I’m turning it justto mop up all of the flavours you knowit’s a sirloin it’s been cooked nice andquickly I’m just gonna pretty much takeit offwhack it on the board and we’ll slicethat up as well all the juices in thepan make sure you mop them up and lookat the fat dancing on the top of thatsteak see that that’s what we love righttime to serve up this soul food classicmy steak is ready to be slicedI’ve only cooked it for two minutes oneach side so it’s tender and blushing inthe middle but you still get that kickfrom the gnarly Cajun bark a soul foodstyle flavor feast in just 15 minutes[Applause][Music]
