How to make GRILLED BEEF TENDERLOIN STEAKS – Valentine’s Day Ideas | Recipes.net

Ingredients
Beef Tenderloin Steaks:
¼ cup olive oil
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
2 tsps Italian seasoning
1 tsp salt
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp ground black pepper
2 beef tenderloin steaks, roughly 6-8 oz each
Cooking spray

Dates Essence:
12 pitted dates, roughly 10 oz total
1½ tsp ground yellow mustard powder
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
2 tbsps olive oil
Salt & ground black pepper to taste

To serve:
Potatoes, done to your preference
Either a side salad or vegetables, done to your preference

⬇️ How to make Copycat The Capital Grille Grilled Beef Tenderloin Steaks ⬇️
0:10 Prepare the marinade for the steaks first. Combine balsamic vinegar, olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, & pepper in a mixing bowl. Whisk until evenly incorporated
0:40 Place your steaks into the marinade, cover, & transfer to a chilled area. 0:57 Allow to marinate for at least 2 hours, no more than 5 hours. You can also place both the marinade & steaks inside a resealable bag
1:01 While the steaks are marinating, combine all your ingredients for the Date Essence in a food processor or blender. Puree until smooth
1:16 Season to taste with salt & pepper. Adjust accordingly & set aside
1:35 Preheat your grill & grease with cooking spray
1:39 Drain the steaks from the marinade (do not discard), then grill the steaks to your desired doneness (roughly 8 minutes for medium)
2:03 Baste the steaks with the marinade as needed, & turn occasionally.
Allow the steaks to rest briefly once grilled
2:19 Spread roughly 2 tbsps of the date essence per plate, then place the steaks next to it. Serve with potatoes & either a side salad or vegetables, all done to your preference
