How to make the best bulgogi at home.I’ll be doing Korean Inspired dishes, and what’s more well-known than Bulgogi? Thinly sliced rib eye is marinated in a sweet and savory sauce and quickly grilled or seared in a hot pan or simply stry fry over high heat. Eat it with lettuce wraps, rice, and kimchi! Bulgogi is a definite crowd pleaser and so easy to make at home!
Literally speaking, bulgogi (불고기) means “fire meat”. It is often made with tender parts of beef, pork or chicken. However, in general terms, unless specified, bulgogi is made with beef. Undoubtedly it is one of the most well-known Korean traditional foods and it has been around for thousands of years.
Bulgogi, a classic Korean grilled beef, is so easy to make and fun to eat with friends and family. Tender pieces of caramelized beef with crunchy sweet vegetables.You can grill on a barbecue or on a stove-top.Best to eat with steamed rice or bibimbap.

INGREDIENTS
1 lb thinly sliced rib eye tenderloin, or sirloin (from Korean market)
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 cloves minced garlic
3 tbsp sugar
1 teaspoon minced ginger
1 tablespoons sesame oil
1 teaspoon Roasted sesame seeds plus more for garnish
1 medium onion thinly sliced
2-3 scallions cut into 2-inch pieces plus 1 scallion thinly sliced for garnish
6-8 thinly shredded carrots
1 tbsp chilli flakes
INSTRUCTIONS
*Mix all the marinade ingredients in a medium baking dish or wide bowl..
*Gently massage the meat to make sure the marinade hits and submerges all of the slices. *Cover, and marinate the meat for atleast 30 minutes.
*Place on a lightly oiled grill or sear in a skillet over high heat until slightly caramelized. *Since it’s so thin, it cooks quickly!
*Cook for about 2-3 minutes .
*Top with scallion and sesame seed.
