Fire up your smokers! We’re throwin’ in some pineapple teriyaki beef jerky.
INSTRUCTIONS:
-Grab 4lbs of your meat of choice- I have top round
-Trim any access fat as necessary
-Put in freezer for 30min-1hr to help firm up the meat
-Cut your meat into slices
-Mix your pineapple teriyaki marinade together- just eyeball it and add different amounts of ingredients to your liking!
-Worcestershire sauce
-Soy sauce
-Brown sugar
-Crushed red pepper flakes
-Cayenne Pepper
-Black Pepper
-Salt
-Garlic Powder
-Onion Powder
-1 bottle of teriyaki marinade- I’m using Lawry’s teriyaki w/ pineapple
-Canned pineapple chunks/juice
-Mix beef and marinade
-Bag it and put in fridge overnight- mix it around as often as possible to make sure marinade soaks evenly in meat
-Pull out jerky after it marinades overnight
-Pat all slices and dry with paper towel
-Lay out jerky on grates- try to separate the slices as much as possible
-Get your smoker up to 170f and add choice of wood- I’m using hickory
-Smoke for 4-6hrs depending on how “done” you like your jerky, I pulled mine just shy of 6hrs
-EAT!!!
