Low Carb/Keto Friendly Beef Jerky Recipe

In this video I make ketogenic/low carb friendly beef jerky.

Ingredients:
~1 lb. meat of your choice, thinly sliced
1/3 c. sugar free BBQ sauce
1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/3 c. liquid aminos (soy sauce alternative)
1/3 c. water
3 tbs. liquid smoke (optional)
1 tbs. chili powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbs. crushed red pepper

All seasonings can be swapped or omitted, and amounts can be changed to taste.

Instructions:
1. Add liquids and seasonings to a bowl and stir together.
2. Trim the fat off of your meat and slice it thinly. I typically use stir fry meat because it comes sliced thin and evenly with little to no fat.
3. Add sliced meat to the bowl and mix it together. Make sure each piece is coated and submerged into the mixture.
4. Cover and let chill in the refrigerator over night.
5. Remove meat from liquid and pat dry to make the cooking process quicker.
6. Lay meat on a wire baking rack in a single layer. Meat can touch but be sure not to overlap any of the pieces. Put the rack over a cookie or baking sheet to catch and possible drippings or pieces of meat.
7. Bake for 3.5-5 hours at the lowest temperature your oven will allow.
8. Store jerky in an air tight container or sandwich bag. I put mine in the refrigerator for extended freshness.
