Ingredients:
-Beef Short ribs.
-1 cup diced carrots.
-1 cup diced celery.
-1/2 cup diced onions.
-3 sprigs of rosemary.
-3-4 sprigs of thyme.
-4 cups of beef stock.
-BBQ seasoning.
Prep:
Dry rub the short ribs a few hours before cooking with bbq seasoning.
Heat the grill on HI mode and grill short ribs on each side for 3 min.
Remove the ribs, then remove the grill plate.
Add the veggies and herbs to pan and grill on hi mode for 3 min.
Add the ribs to pan and cover with beef stock.
Change to BAKE function and make temp 325f.
Cook ribs for at least two hours at 325f, until probe tender.
Remove ribs and enjoy!

yeah you got some big things going on inthe kitchen today today we were makingbraised short ribs in my niche footygrill coming up this is cooking with CJthe show about cookie drinking barbecueand all the other stuff that goes alongwith itI am NOT a chef I’m not a bartender I amNOT a pitmasterbut I play all three on TV I’m gonnashow you how to make quick easy tastyrecipes and have a little bit of funalong the wayso let’s get this party started what’sup everybody welcome to cooking with CJCJ returning subscriber you know youknow I love you you’re new to thechannel make sure you hit that going in that guy for the Gumpshrimp fish shrimp that I just love mesome short ribs so I figured you knowwhat we gotta do it in the Ninja fortygrill we can do the bacon in there we dothe grilling we do everything in thereshort ribs don’t love sure so so youknow I get excited about food sometimesthis is no different day we were sorrythings I have to I’ve been cooking allday I’ve been in the lab all daywonderful in here so what I’m gonna dois we just we’re gonna use simpleingredients in this so first thingsfirst I took the short ribs thepackaging put in a gallon bag you like Inormally do and put some the VictoryLane beef rub in there just add thatsort of flavor sort in your eyes alittle bit sweat it out a little bityeah do it all right don’t forget thatstep our two hours overnight just getsome get some rub on there that’s allthe flavors you needed I’ll put a linkdown below for Victory Lane again andnot affiliate it just you know I likethe products so again anything Imentioned anything I’m showing herelinks down below check it out okay whatelse alright so we’re going to use asimple mirepoixcarrots onions celery we have some thymeand some rosemary I’ll have anygreediest down below for you to see itshow more and we’ll do the prep downbelow – obviously you’re watching thisvideo so you gotta prep yeah let’s seeyou guys we’ll do some chopping overhere I’ll bring it with a ninja foodgrill station which is my kitchen islandwith your some chopping guys stick withme on this one you’re not gonna want tomiss itit is delicious time trust mebut not had to go with all right solet’s come over here and let’s keepworking off[Applause][Music][Applause][Music][Applause][Music]all right guys we’re over here on theninja foodie grill station we’re gonnaget this thing set up I’m gonna turn iton we’re gonna do grill hi all right sothat’s 500 degrees I know people keepasking me what temperature I’m cookingat when I say grill mode and it’s highit’s 500 and Max is 510 I mean you guysjust got to use the mode that’s all itis all right so what we’re gonna do ismock sear these short ribs we’re gonnamake them kind of grilled and then oncethese all get grilled through they’renot gonna be completely finished soobviously not gonna be cooked throughwe’re gonna remove the grill rack solet’s it start remove that grill rackput our veggies in and our herbs and thebeef stock and we’re gonna braise thesebad boyswe’ll do it using the pep bake functionand we’re gonna do it at 325 degrees allright so once it’s preheated we’ll getwe’ll get these seared off we’re readyto add the food as it says so you’regonna get these searing upsome of these it’s easy to put the boneside up some are kind of flat and we’llget one side seared we’re gonna let yougo 2 minutes of steering on this sidewe’ll flip them around sear again andthen we’ll pull the grill grade out ofit and then we’ll start braising thesebad boys yeah we got a couple minutes inmore like three got the sear I’m gonnaflip them over pretty good I have tothing of beauty right there basically wedid three minutes aside not two minutesaside but it is what it is all right sowe’re gonna pull these out onto a plateit smells so good just with that VictoryLane barbecue rub on there oh I’m gonnatake our protective finger deals ergently carefully that is hotmake sure you have some silicone fingerprotectors lean down below I wanna getsome all rightso what we’re gonna do now is get ourveggies and our herbs in there let thegrill go for another three minutes theyjust kind of get these sauteed down andbroken down a little bit and then we’lladd the beef back in with the beef stockyou’ll be good to go yeah we’re donewith those three minutes it’s got alittle bit of color in here maybe theheat no big deal we didn’t need to addoil because of the fat from the shortribs weren’t rendered down in there letme add all these back you turn this offand we’ll turn it back on when we needyou somebody do add our beef stockprobably add this whole carton goes downit on I’m gonna bakeI’m gonna go 325 I’m gonna go I’m gonnaput two hours in here but we’re gonnapay attention to it after the first hourwe’re gonna check the temperatures onthe short ribs we want it to be a good200 degrees so we’ll cook until we getthere at two hours we hit start it’sgonna preheat just let it preheat onlytake a couple minutes and then it willstart the countdown all right we’reabout an hour in guys let’s check it outlook you’re pretty goodnice little braise you can start youstart seeing this uh get nice and softin there the bones are pulling away I’mgonna check the tent check the temp onthese with my thermo Pro I have afeeling they’re coming they’re up totemp because we’re looking for about 200but they still don’t feel really probetender yet and I want to be able to youyou know really shred this yeah see youcan see it’s sticky so we’re gonna letthis go this one feels a little Tunderthe smaller smaller short ribs are gonnafeel a little bit more tender but we’regonna let it go at least another halfhour and check it out okay so you may goabove 200 but we want to make sure weget nice and tender got my handy dandythermometer hereit’s probing a little more tender 8590it’s still sticking a little bit thoughI think we ready to go the full twohours on thisyou see when we’re looking good but it’sjust not that one that’s tender rightthere lordy that’s going right throughon 90-95 okay cool so we got a littlebit of time I’m gonna move these aroundflip them over the bones have pulled offa lot of these so we’re getting prettydang close I think the next you knownext half hour so we’ll get to where weneed to be and we’ll start and jointhese bad boys guys trust me when I tellyou it smells so freakin good in here Idon’t know if rippen’s a word but itsmells good in here so let’s get thatlast half-hour in I’m gonna come andtalk about it these are done two hoursof braising wanna go ahead pull them outhere get a picture for the look at theball all the bones are falling off get apicture for the thumbnail do a littletaste testall right guys thumbnails taken nowwe’re gonna chop into this bad boy yeahjuicy see the fats rendered down alittle bit Oh tenders can be beautifulyou know make some awesome tacos goshalright come on back we’ll talk about itthen I tell you all right tell you thatcolor flavor oh we
