Quick prep video highlighting how to trim a brisket to make burnt ends.
If you’ve ever cooked a full packer brisket, then you have to give this recipe a try. Brisket burnt ends come from the point section of brisket, and offer up some of the best-tasting bbq your tastebuds have ever experienced.
The key here is to trim away a little more of the fat that separates the point from the flat prior to smoking the brisket. This allows you to get a substantially larger amount of seasoning on the meat – upping the flavor of every bite in a BIG way.
BBQ Brisket Burnt Ends are my favorite bite in BBQ, and I’m sure after you give this recipe a try you’ll agree too.
It all starts with a high-quality cut of meat – I prefer Snake River Farms briskets – buy yours here: https://www.smokedmeatsunday.com/recommends/gold-grade-brisket/
