Smoked beef brisket burnt ends are in my opinion the best bite in all of barbecue. Not only will I show you how to make smoked beef brisket burnt ends but I will show you how to smoke the flat as well for delicious slices. These smoked beef brisket burnt ends are no doubt the star of the show but those slices from the flat are so tender and delicious. Smoked beef brisket burnt ends of juicy slices from the flat, you cant go wrong either way.
Beef brisket point and flat smoked for 5 hours at 275. Brisket flat and point wrapped and returned to smoker at 300 degrees. Point taken off after 2 and a half hours. Brisket flat took an additional 4 hours after wrapping.
-BBQ Rub (whisk all ingredients together)-
-1/4 cup kosher salt-
-1/4 cup black pepper-
-1/4 cup paprika-
-2 tablespoons granulated garlic-
-2 tablespoons cane sugar
-Vinegar BBQ Sauce-
-2 cups cider vinegar-
-1 cup ketchup-
-1 cup apple jelly-
-1/2 cup brown sugar-
-1/4 cup honey-
-2 tablespoons salt-
-1 tablespoon ground black pepper-
-1 tablespoon honey powder-
